Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

i10 Kappa2 2010

City - 11.4 (bumper to bumper traffic, 30%AC)
Highway - 14.4 (50% AC)

I feel it's pretty low. Any other Kappa2 owners ready to share ?

BTW - I travel 8 Km one way in dense traffic.

Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

My six year old Tata Indigo, (MPFI-2005, GLX model, almost 57K KM):-
City- 8.0 KMPL (AC), 9.25 KMPL (w/o AC).
Highway- 13.5 KMPL (AC), almost 15 KMPL (w/o AC).
The FE has improved marginally (yet noticeably for me) for almost a year now, after I had switched over to full synthetics.
Rahul Biswas,
Calcutta.

Tata Indica DLS 2008 model 58K on odo.

City 17KMPL always with AC on
Highway 20KMPL always with AC on.

I use regular fuel (HP/IOC/BP). But I add system D as recommended by Tata Motors.

i10 Kappa2 Auto : 8.5-9 kpl (100% ac) in GGN

My inlaws i10 Manual gives around 10.5 . Another friend gets around 10. So you're not the only one ,vivek.

Really wonder how they calculate the ARAI mileage for i10s

Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

Current ride- Tata Manza Aura+ Quadrajet

highway runs: ~24 w/o aircon; ~21-22 w aircon
In my regular runs, combination of all sorts (maybe around 30% highway/low traffic roads): 16 w aircon; ~17.5-18 w/o aircon

For Manza, fuel eff drops fair but with spirited driving (say 100+ on highways or 3000 rpm+ in city)

Had a 7-yr old WagonR: 17 kmpl on highways, 13 kmpl in mix runs; give or take 1 kmpl.
