Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

Update on my Ford Ecosport Ecoboost -
First tankful - 9.4 Kmph (80% AC)
Second tankful - 10.2 Kmph (80% AC)
Third is yet to complete but having seen the MID to be pretty accurate on both occasions it is near about 11 kmph. (60% AC)

Ford Ecosport TDCi - Returned an impressive 16.5 km/l, all in city with AC use of 60-70% and ACC set to 23. Done with first service.

Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

My 3 yeard old Ritz VXI is returning around 12-13 KM/L. The best I have achieved is 16.6 KM/L when I went on a long weekend trip to Mysore.

Small nitpick mate - it is kmpl not kmph. Unless you mean that is the speed you driving at

My Vista has recently started giving me weird FE - most recently 14 Kmpl in the city with 100% AC! and then the other day on a Mumbai airport run got 13 kmpl with 100% AC (night driving so avoided a lot of traffic). Funnily the highway FE was less this time.
Otherwise I typically get between 13 - 14 on my daily commute.

Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

Well spotted mate
On another note the average speed on the MID is a resounding 19 Kmph (right this time). So much for owning a 123 bhp car (just to make it clear am disappointed with the traffic scenario and not the horsepower the engine produces)

Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

2011 Ford Fiesta classic tdci(1.4)

345 km, on 17.5 litre of diesel = 19.71 kmpl.

Daytime journey, 100% AC, only the front seats occupied, speed is a sedate 70-90 kmph, 2 lane highway, vehicle just now serviced, done 30k.

Not happy, not sad.
