Toyota Liva Diesel
Odo: 36,000kms
Mileage: 28kmpl on a 550km trip( Coimbatore - Chennai) with constant 100-110kmph and AC on at all times.

The best way to achieve maximum mileage as we all know , is to start early in the morning. Lesser City traffic, dense and cold air. Better performance, better mileage and a relaxed you

Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

Tata Nano Lx 2011
Fuel Efficiency: 22 kmpl (Out skirts of the City without traffic jams)
24 kmpl (Highways)

Overall quite happy with the mileage I am getting! The only problem I have is speed breakers. I am yet to find out the way to deal with them :-)

Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

I have a Honda City 2009 vintage ivtech S. It has done around 61000 km. Currently in the city, New Delhi, with AC running and average speed of around 30 kmph I get around 12.3 to 12.5 km/litre. Over the weekend a drive to Chandigarh and back of 600 km including city driving in Chandigarh over 2 days gave a mileage of 19.6 km/litre (tank full to tank full). Most of the highway driving was at 80 kmph with a maximum of 90 kmph (speed limit) and in 5th gear with AC running about 60% of the time.

Re: What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

I had posted this message in a different thread by accident and I am now reposting in this thread.

My Swift Zdi has crossed 51000 kilometres and the average mileage that I have got over the entire period is a pretty impressive 16.5 kmpl which for a city like Chennai with the occasional highway drive is really impressive.

From whatever I noticed, MID AVG figures on Swifts and DZires are higher than tankful calculations. My 2014 petrol dzire has a ~4 kmpl variation. I reset the AVG guage every time I tank her up. And it shows in the range of 18.7-19.5 kmpl by next tanful, which translates to ~15 kpl
