My plugs are currently shot and its giving me an amazing mileage of 18mpg..lol..that too from a 2litre engine...hahaha

I am horrified to see that all your costly cars give such low mileage.But my Indica XETA gives me 13.5 constant with ac always on even in winters the heater is always on.And without AC/Heater he mileage is constant 16.These are in heavy city traffic conditions of Kolkata.It is self-driven.

My Getz Prime 1.1L gives 13kmpl in city and ~20kmpl on highways (40% AC). The odo reads 2600kms now and I expect the mileage to go up after 2nd service.

My 2004 Santro Xing gives me around 12 km in the city (usually short distances, very rarely get to go beyond 3rd gear) with 100% AC on. On the highway, I get 16-17 when I maintain a speed between 100-120 kmph (usually between Bangalore Chennai). When the highway is not that safe, I drop the speed to between 80-100 kmph and I get a mileage of 18-19 kmpl

my santro's giving me 9-10 in city driving (bombay). Haven't taken it out to the highway yet.

Thats new FE for Getz Prime 1.1L its a good car but appears overpriced accoridng to public.

My Petrol Innova completed 16,500km now giving FE as 7.5kmpl in City conditions and 10.5kmpl on highway, AC on 50%.

My October 2004 Indigo LX gives me the following results with the AC on 110% from late march until early december:

In City: 13-14 kms per ltr of normal diesel
On Highways: 17-18 kms per ltr of normal diesel

Points to take into consideration:
1) I normally drive with a heavy foot.
2) The AC is always switched on - even when idling in the car park.
3) I get my car serviced regularly (with oil change and the works) every 4000 - 4500 kms and dont wait for it to cross the 5000 kms mark. My average bill for these regular servicings comes to approx Rs 3000 everytime.

Are these figures good or bad? Your views please...

Swift ZXi - Aug 2005.
Odo reading - ~25000.
A/C - 90% ON.
City - 13 to 14.
Highways - 17 to 18.

So far used regular petrol, this time using premium petrol, will post the FE on this as well. Though, I am not expecting increase in FE but the drive is lot smoother.

Use to get 13 from my 1989 Omni in city (AC whats that) and 15 in highways, 12-15 in RD no matters whether its highway or city, Hero Honda CD100 60-70 and CBZ 32 in city and 45 in highways.
