What is your Actual Fuel Efficiency?

T-Roc 1.5 TSI DSG - Model Year 2020.
I am not a mileage freak, but I do keep capturing the car's expenses.

Here is the mileage of last 10 fillings. The drive of around 5000 kms, if I roughly calculate, was 40% Highway and 60% City, with full usage of AC on highways and rare use of AC during city drives.
Bengaluru has cold to pleasant weather. So I do not need to use AC much.

However, if one were to drive with a very light foot, the engine returns very good mileage. In fact I made an attempt and got the below.

This is what my 630D gives on my way back from work with an absolute conscious and sedate driving.

Quiet impressed to be honest considering it is a 3 litre engine.

Usage is primarily highway - ratio being 70 : 30 (Highway : City)

Feather light acceleration might push the average to 11-12 but not more

Did a weekend Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai trip.

Car: 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno Zeta
Odometer : 5300 kms
AC: ON, set at 24C
Passengers: 2 adults + 1 kid with light luggage
Speed: 80 - 100 kmph
MID mileage - 22.9 kmpl
Tank to tank mileage - 21.4 kmpl

I drive the car in Delhi heavy local traffic almost daily and the mileage is 10-11KM per litre with short distances of 5-10 KMs

The car gives a mileage of around 14KM with AC on if the distance is in the range of 20KMs and one takes the outer ring road to travel.

The Nissan Kicks diesel FE continues to surprise me. I did a Mumbai Vadodara drive this Sunday. The traffic was average, not too light. The MID showed me FE of 20.4 kmpl.
Further, after reaching Vadodara, I topped up the diesel till auto cut and it only took only around 15 litres of Diesel which translates to 27.xx kmpl of FE

However, I think there might be some mistake in this.

This is the highest milage got on Compass 2D MT with speeds around 70-80kmph on highway, the least i have got is around 15 even when driven like a lunatic.

Greetings Team..
Early Morning run of about 80 kms at speeds of 70 to 80 kmph with AC in my 2014 Diesel VW Polo returned me efficiency as shown in the image below.
At the end of the trip it settled at 28.8 kmpl.
This is the best i have achieved with this car.
On average it always gives me around 23 to 24 KMPL.

My Nexon petrol gives around 10kmpl in bumper to bumper traffic and around 15kmpl in long drives. Both figures are with 100% A.C. on.

My Hector Plus (manual/petrol/mild-hybrid), gives 10 kmpl in Bangalore traffic for short runs of 6 kms. On longer runs, fuel efficiency increase by 1 kmpl.

On Highway, fuel efficiency varies from 13.3 to 15.5 kmpl.

Linea returned 20kmpl on a recent drive from Trivandrum to Thrissur. Considering the traffic on a week day morning, I'd say this is good FE.

ACC at 22.
4 People ( almost full boot luggage).

Did a highway trip of nearly 500 Kms (to and fro) in a day in our 2014 Honda City iDTEC and got an FE of 24.5 Kmpl (T2T) while MID showed 26.2 Kmpl before resetting the trip meter and the car has completed 1.53L Kms today (13/02/23).

And, the speeds I had driven was 80-100 Kmph and didn't go beyond that and, had set the cruise at 80 Kmph and 3 people were on board without any luggage and AC was set at 21-22 degrees.

The figures are as follows:

500/20.4 L of Diesel worth Rs.2000= 24.5 Kmpl

In city traffic, it still gives no less than 18 Kmpl if driven well and once achieved 19 Kmpl in pure city driving.

I have a detailed log where due to Bombay traffic & my driving habits I have rarely got mileage above 12kmpl

In our recent trip to Gujarat managed to get 15kmpl driving consciously around 100kmh due to the excellent roads, less traffic and hence lack of sudden braking/acceleration.

To my surprise, in our recent trip on Pune Expressway returning to Bombay we got 20 on the expressway.
