My FE details are as follows:-

Car & Engine: Honda City V AT 1.5 iVTEC
Fuel tank size: 40 Litres (stingy no?)
City tank range: ~250 - 300 kms in city due to bumper to bumper traffic
Highway tank range: ~450 kms generally. My DTE once read 630 kms when I was coming downhill from Madikeri in neutral most of the way.

However, I religiously top up my tank once it's at the quarter tank mark.

Gen 3 city:-Petrol 40L tank capacity, On an average I get:

City Range: 500Kms

Highway Range: 650Kms

I regularly do Pune- South Goa+4 days of commute inside Goa and then refill the tank while returning back.

Overall quite happy with the range provided. I have even once tested the kilometers the car will travel after it shows Zero range in MID (not the low fuel indicator). I could drive 110 Kms after i saw the Range-Zero mark on MID but then i did not took further risk. My tank has gulped 42 Liters after that. So i am guessing that the exact capacity of fuel tank may be little higher.

2015 Skoda Rapid 1.5 TDI (Diesel):
Fuel tank capacity: 55 ltrs
City driving range: 750 to 850 kms
Highway driving range: 1000 to 1100 kms
We usually fill up when the reserve light shows up. Both me and my dad have relatively heavy right foot hence these figures else the car has potential to deliver even better range.

Highway Range: 490-540 kms

After 0 on the MID, it has some more range left.

I wanted to share an image of my Dzire 2018 VDi MID that I took earlier this month.

I have been able to get 30+ km/l on highways and 26+ km/l in NCR right from the initial days of this car, once I got familiar with the sweet spot (thanks to Team-BHP). I usually drive with a light foot and limit myself to speeds around 80 km/h. This photo was taken on my way to Agra from Faridabad post filling the tank, we did an 800 km round trip to RJ the weekend before this and the car returned 30+ just like that. The vehicle is due for a 70,000 km service.

Mileage: Ranges from 12 to 14.5 kmpl (Car has done about 9300 km)

Car & Engine: Fiat Abarth Punto MT (1.4L Petrol)
Fuel tank size: 45L
City tank range: Approximately 450-500 km (After the low fuel indicator light glows, there is usually 5-7L still left in the tank.)
Highway tank range: 500-550 km
Mileage: Ranges from 11 to 15 kmpl (Car has done about 37,000 km)

Car & Engine: Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza ZDI+ MT (1.3L Diesel)
Fuel tank size: 48L
City tank range: Approximately 750-850 km (After the low fuel indicator light glows, there is usually 10-15L still left in the tank.)
Highway tank range: 850-950 km
Mileage: Ranges from 15 to 20 kmpl (Car has done about 61,000 km)

It looks like many of the members here, drive with a heavy foot compromising fuel efficiency. I agree that it is up to the owner to drive his vehicle as he/she wishes to, within the legal limits, but still driving a little responsibly with a light foot can do wonders to the car as well as the environment.

Highway tank range: 900-930 km if driven spirited way in 120+ kmph range (15-16 kmpl)
rises to 1050-1100 km if driven moderately in 80-100 kmph range (18.0-18.5 kmpl)
