Re: What is your car's tank range?

Car: Kia Sonet GTX+ 7DCT (1.0 Turbo Petrol)
Fuel tank size: 45L
City tank range: ~500km (10-12kmpl)
Highway tank range: ~630km (14kmpl)

The effective range would be ~375km in the city and ~470km on a highway since I fill up the tank when it hits 1/4.

Re: What is your car's tank range?

Dzire ZDI 2015
City range is a bit confusing. My daily office commute I get about 20+, but in core city I have 14/15. So avg of ~750 in city
And over 900 on highways.

Re: What is your car's tank range?

Car & Engine: XL6 (2020)- 1.5 K15B Petrol with mild hybrid system
Fuel tank size: 45L
City tank range: 475-500 km (Thanks to MMR traffic)
Highway tank range: 550-600 odd km.
I have changed my driving style to a more sedate driving style now (I had Ertiga diesel previously) & only able to achieve around 60-70% of the claimed FE overall (Mixed usage)
The best I could achieve till date was around 680kms which actually left me shocked. 😂

Re: What is your car's tank range?

Car & Engine: 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 TDI (Stage 1 Remap)
Fuel tank size: 65L
City Tank Range: 575-600 (Bangalore traffic, but don't do much city driving)
Regular Usage Range (City/Rural/Highway): 900-950
Highway Tank Range: Calm Driving 1250-1300 1050-1100 with a heavy foot.

Have to say the VAG 2.0 TDI is one of the most efficient engines I've had and it's a huge boon. I make regular trips to Chennai for work, a journey of about 800 km round trip with about 100km of city driving never uses more than 3/4 a tank. The best mileage I've seen is 22kpl while hauling about 400kg of stone in the trunk (couldn't go more than 90kmh).

Re: What is your car's tank range?

Car & Engine: Innova Crysta 2.8Z
Fuel tank size: 45L
City tank range: 450 km (usually filled up after approximately 400 km)
Highway tank range: ~500 km (sometimes reaches 550 km if maintained at a speed of 100 km/h)

The Innova Crysta 2.8Z doesn't offer exceptional mileage due to its engine size (not that I'm complaining) .

Car & Engine: Celerio AMT
Fuel tank size: 30L
City tank range: 300 km (Generally driven in heavy traffic on Bangalore's Outer Ring Road, so a higher range shouldn't be expected)
Highway tank range: This car has never been taken on highways as it was primarily intended for city driving.

Re: What is your car's tank range?

Car & Engine: Toyota Hyryder S Hybrid
Fuel tank size: 45L
City tank range: 1000 Kms
Highway tank range: 900 Kms

The last time I was driving exclusively in the city, had an overall mileage of 23-24 Kmpl. Didn’t have to fill petrol for almost 2 months.

Highway mileage varies quite a bit depending on the driving style. If you keep the car between 70-80, mileage of around 25 Kmpl is easily achievable. If you go north of 90 kmph, mileage reduces to around 19-20 kmpl. Recently did a Bangalore-Goa trip with over quarter tank of fuel still remaining.
