Mercedes is getting back to their quality standards. There is not a single Bangle element on the C-class or on the S-class.Why do people forget that the S-class rear bootlid is based on the Maybach sedan shown in 1997 and not the BMW 7 series. The interior in the S-class may resemble the 7 series in some aspects but the one in the C dosent by any stretch of imagination.

Also this C is the elegence model as you can see the star on the hood.

Great find! Looks like the new C will be here sooner then we expected. Good of Mercedes to be so quick with their new launches. I love the look of the new C class. And with the majorly improved performance shown by Mercedes in the latest J.D.Power survey's, I am sure the new C will be much more reliable then the old one.

Great job again, Tushky.

This C-class looks less of a class and more of a mass-production sedan

I saw a 350 in Pune last week, I really don't like the new shape, the old one seemed so much more refined and balanced, this looks a bit weird frankly, the back, not as desirable as the previous model.

They dont have a C350 CDi,but a C320CDi.Dont expect it here though.This one looks like a C220CDi.

I think the new C will be available as

C200K
C280
C220CDi
C280CDi

whether the sports option will be available remains to be seen.

Wait till the long term reports start coming in. But let me say it, I want those to be as good or better than the early 90's, people should again swear by Mercedes.

Well who said there isn't a bangle influence in the Maybach, look at the tail and then tell me.

In anycase I did not say I disliked the new C, its only that I am missing the traditional solid C-pillar (its just like I cannot think of a Merc with slim C pillar, much like the Golf!)

Engine options will be the same as current, but may have ECM tweaks for more power. Mercedes has always kept the C at a lower power level than the E. For obvious reasons. Therefore, I dont see any 280 variants coming anytime soon.
