God bless the economy! People are willing to pay ~70L for a Kia MPV. I hope Kia doesn't disappoint us on the pricing part .

And we have players like Honda who eternally consider Indian market sub par and does not bring out (Honda India : The Way Forward) International models like CRV, Pilot and Odyssey

Its good for the customers to have multiple options.

It would be nice if Kia publishes the cancellation numbers post the price launch. I guess many buyers who were on the fence for Velfire, V-Class would all look at the Carnival IMO

Its not all that expensive for the comfort and luxury on offer. If Lexus can get away with pricing the LM350h at 2.5 crores, this thing will fly off shelves.

The ones who are buying probably find it as a bargain. They wouldn't care about badge value because this is going to be the family beater for school and airport runs. They probably already have luxury badges in their garage. In my opinion, considering how Toyota is ripping people off with their offerings, KIA is doing a service to India in bringing good and reliable cars at decent prices.

Do they really want to sell in India?

The prices are way off mark for single variant product (s).

The Carnival will only make the Innova make VFM. This is similar mistake as Honda made with Jazz & helped i20 sell more.

For the EV9 I would rather give it a pass & buy the Vellfire.

Re: Kia Carnival discontinued in India; 4th-gen to arrive in 2024

Let's see how it fairs in the Indian Market. I was shocked to see the price at 63Lakhs in there website now and only Limo+ variant.

Feeling really confused. My dad was asking me if we can buy the Carnival and I told, if it is priced around 50L, we will buy one. this is way more than the budget. The previous gen Carnival was costly in the used car market and now with this pricing we cannot expect it to go down. :(
