I hope the production stop is to bring out the facelifted adventure. Lets pray that it is that way.

And hope they maintain the quality. (unlike the Stile where owners have reported rattling as main problem)!

And yaa... A diesel option too, to keep the sales charts ticking.

the marina is a diesel & a far better looker than the adventure.

Not meaning to sound defensive (Most know i have enough complaints against FIAT in my 1 month short stint of having been with them) - but are the rattles really a big problem? Uttam had some niggling rattles from the front window which i had too, and i suspect this was an outcome of the speaker fitting (at least in my case) Bottle's car seems to be having some bad rattles, and mine has done around 1200kms, around 150 of that on severely bad roads. The only rattle i hear in my car now is the speaker pad at the back (which was a tight fit so far, but seems to have come loose now - need to pad it with some soft material), the front left window glass shake (which was fixed during the first service) and a loose screw which had dropped into one of the rear doors and drove me absolutely nuts for 2-3 days until i figured out what the problem was. I think the worst rattle is the dashboard one - which is absolutely irritating on my zen, and which i haven't heard so far on the Palio....

i keep wondering what fiat is trying to do? or the question is - is tata strong arming them to do this? adventure was direct comeptition to the marina - same price range - but fiat build was believed to be better than tata's.

Sigh!

No wonder you fell in love!

May be, FIAT wants a make-over with all new cars like G.Punto and Linea.

Adventure/Palio/Petra blah blah are history. Cars of the Past. Why weep over an old design. I hope they stop all this range and bring out the Punto and the Linea.
Even Tata is losing indica sales, there is a limit to whipping an aging design.
So its better if Fiat looks forward instead of flogging dead horses. A dead horse is a dead horse, it does not matter whether it was a Mule or a Stud.

Good or bad the car wouldn't sell even if they launch a totally new design for the Palio. Thanks to Fiat the car has got a reputation for being a fuel guzzler with poor service support. No matter what they do, they will not manage to push sales of anything badged Palio or Petra. IMO, they should start working hard on bringing in the Panda to take over from Palio.
