I don't know if others will agree with me but I believe this family look is now getting on the nerves. It's just like that the designers want to do less work for more. I believe each new model should have an identity of its own. And its like an opportunity lost to create something beautiful, everytime a new model is released. Some subtle hints are acceptable suggesting the commonality but looking more or less like its siblings or elder brothers, is not doing cars any favour. Just my two cents. Hope the car looks good in reality and has engines to go with the looks. For now , Citroen Basalt looks better.

Seriously what is the point of this reveal ?
All this build-up for showcasing what has already been shown and what we already know.
The production ready interiors are still not shown, the battery details are not known.

The Auto expo ICE version shown revealed more details than this.
Waste of time TATA.

Couldn't agree more. Look at Mahindra, how they have differentiated Xuv700, ScorpioN and Xuv3X0 design.

Curvv looks good to me. With high GC, it might be positioned as an alternative to sedans like City and Verna.

Every time Tata launches a new car. One thought comes to mind. “Buy their shares, not their cars”.
I doubt it will change with this one. Looks good to me though. Nice that we are spoiled for choice.

I was expecting a more refined lower rear with a Porsche 944 inspired or Octavia inspired design. What we really ended up with was Tata kardashian. Someone here summed it up as a lovechild between Tigor and Nexon and they are dead right. But then again, if Sid the sloth ( tigor) can be somewhat popular, this modern interation will definitely sell

Taking photographs of the rear (quarter angle) from a low view point makes these coupe suvs look really bad IMHO. I was hoping that I don't have to trail one of these in the traffic but I realised that in reality, you won't be seeing them from the same viewpoint (unless you are in a very low slung sedan).

1. ADAS likely to be Camera based as Front Radar are missing in both TVCs

2. All Flush handles have embedded Led

3. No Rear Wiper being offered

4. Front Charging Port for Curvv.ev as well

5. Panoramic Sunroof only the front half will open as there is a shark fin antenna on the rear end

Is this just a Nexon with a different/ sloping rear? If yes - how does this now suddenly complete with the next segment which is Creta/ Seltos? Every single auto channel/ magazine is also moving with the propoganda of it competing with the next segment..which it clearly isn't!

The car looks Lovely to my eyes. I get that there will be a lot of parts sharing within TATA family cars but that is just a symbol of pragmatism and maturity. The family resemblance with Group vehicles again is good as it shows a signature design.

While aesthetics are subjective, a significant factor for many EV buyers is range anxiety. Offering a larger 60 kWh battery pack would address this concern. Additionally, customer-centric pricing would make Tata Curvv even more attractive.

I feel this launch is to keep prospective buyers' interest high till August 7th or be the first one to release SUV coupe in India before Citroen launches Basalt. We might get only engine specs and car dimensions on August 7th reveal, bookings open after that and based on how market reacts, pricing will be revealed after a month and deliveries only during festive season.

Tata should have at least revealed car dimensions and engine + gearbox combinations for ICE model and range for EV model with this reveal.
