So 21 lakhs to 28 lakhs that's bang on ZSev pricing almost it might match as still it has value tags over the ZSeV in the form of a bigger battery and wider service and sales network, or a safer bet would be a slight undercutting of the ZSeV pricing. Lets see, I am all game for an affordable LR Currve, would be a great upgrade from the Punch LR.

Anything above 25 Lakhs will leave no room to slot Sierra EV and Harrier EV. 25 Lakhs on-road for the top variant should be more than fair price IMHO. Anything more would be greedy from TAMO.

IMHO, it will be Nexon + 50-75k with equivalent variants.

I think it would be atleast 1 Lakh premium and upto 2 Lakhs over Nexon.ev variants respectively.
50-75k would cannibalise sales of Nexon. Already Punch.ev LR variants have cannibalised (to some extent) the sales of Nexon MR.

I too think there will be a premium of 75k vis-a-vis to the Nexon in the ICE segment.

But tax slab between both the segments is different. Nexon falls under sub 4M category where taxes is 28% GST + 1&3% cess (petrol & diesel) and Curvv falls under the higher tax slab of 28 GST + 17%cess for vehicles >4 meters with less than 1500cc engine. So prices, though similar engines will cost more thereby well segregating themselves.

While coming down to EVs, they are in a similar segments in taxes, they will have to tinker with the Nexon LR variants so that there will be a pricing difference and I don't think it should be a worry as it's within the same company. Nexon has established itself in the ICE and will not be much of a difference it they loose some numbers in the EVs especially in LR top-end variants. We can expect some price correction or variants rejig. Anyways base Curvv models will align with top-end Nexon variants.

Well, when it comes to EV, you're getting a significantly bigger battery pack with the Curvv LR. I think that should off set the 5% GST cost easily. Plus add-ons like panoramic sunroof, electric tailgate and ADAS would increase the price of Curvv LR with respect to nexon ev LR.
As you said I hope to see a price correction as well or atleast an updated nexon ev based on the acti.ev architecture at existing price. Fingers crossed!

Cannot help seeing striking resemblance.
If these wheels were bigger it would match completely.

Was Tata Tigor the unofficial first Coupe ?

Tata Curvv new TGDi engine to be called Hyperion.

- This new turbo-petrol engine will be called ‘Hyperion’ and will join the Revotron engine in the brand's line-up
- Will come mated to a six-speed manual and a seven-speed DCT gearbox

Quote:
The 1.2-litre GDi Hyperion engine is a three-cylinder unit which is BS6 Phase 2 and E20 fuel-compliant. The direct injection engine is capable of generating 123bhp at 5000rpm and 225Nm of peak torque between 1700 and 3500rpm. This engine is developed using lightweight yet rigid aluminium for improved stiffness. Moreover, the automaker claims this new engine which is set to debut with the Curvv will deliver a balance of power, refinement, and efficiency.
Quote:
he Curvv will also offer two more engine options – a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Both of these powertrain are already on offer with the Nexon SUV.

Not possible, with solar panel (540 to 575 Wp - 2 in number can be added on a car roof), the max that can be gained in a good sunny day is about 6 to 7 km.

Base Curvv.ev is going to be quite cheap (one without screens) - one of the auto journalists claimed this.

Sorry, I think there's a misunderstanding. The query was in response to the popularity of home rooftop solar installations in Kerala, not installing solar panels on the cars roof.

Looks quite out of proportions if you ask me. The creative juices seem to have dried up somewhere in the middle and went away completely as they approached the rear. It looks very ugly when compared to the Basalt which in any case is not going to win any design competitions ether. I think a coupe design needs a lot more thinking around it. Look at how Audi did it with the Q3 sportback now that is a design.

I did 2kw offgrid for around 70k, caveat being I had an inverter (twin battery regular one) beforehand.
