None from the list! Would rather go for Aveo 1.4!

If the Ikon is not 1.6, none in the list. My vote is Petra. If forced to select one out of the list, It has to be Logan. I get at least some good space.

I agree, no other car is good enough, even though esteem is so old none of the new cars in this segment are as fun to drive and also VFM as well.

I am sorry I read the thread in a wrong light. I saw the accent and presumed it to be phased out finally, and thus believed this was a sort of vote between all the versions of these cars. Voted for Ikon thinking 1.6.

Can I change my vote?

For sheer practicality, and low maintenance cost its Esteem.

Since its on the verge of being obsolete, Logan is the best choice according to me (bcoz except looks, fit and finish it offers quite a lot) but again could / should have been priced 'thoda aur less'.

i voted for the ford ikon 1.3.best looker of the lot imo, great handling and decent performance (at least the torque comes in really low so feels punchy).

Yes but when you take the revs up there and then shift to a higher gear, the upper gear revs are far above the maximum torque rpm. That is where the G13B excels. Whenever you are upshifting, you are nearabout the sweet rpm zone of the next gear. So to have fun with the esteem engine, you need to rev it.

Everyone wants the Esteem out of the market.

But still its in second spot in the poll, trailing just one vote behind the Logan. The car may be out-dated alright, but still can keep its head high!

Its basically cos there is very little choice in that segment. Else no one would recommend esteem. I cant believe that the logout is winning this poll. Its better to buy a hatch than spend cash on any of these.

None of the above seems to excite my senses other than the Esteem.
Can we have a rejuvenated version of it?

Logan costs below 5L? How?

98 BHP - very nice interiors, Big Car feel - Accent of course !!! And then I drive one also !!

BTW it is also one of the safest cars in this category, it is built to last ( Not saying that other cars are not !! )
