Its a surprise seeing Dealerships are developing for Mitsubishi. Are they really earning profits?

Guess sometimes listening to the heart not only helps, but makes you live longer---given this situation
For me it happened just opposite!!

My brain said 'go for SX4' and heart said 'go for NHC' - I went ahead with what my brain said (TBHPians brain washed me ).

Now I am feeling little bit safer (with Indian traffic, you can't feel fully safe ).

I don't think delars are anyway helping Mitsubishi and this is mainly due to HM. Atleast here in Mumbai.

sales manager at the Mumbai dealership agrees that HM delaership is no less than govt. office, not bothered about marketing / targets / competition.

On profits, I doubt...its Mitsubishi's interest in India, which is helping dealers to continue even with the losses. This is again from same sales manager.

Hmmm...after reading that article my other option goes too :(
Now what? Cedia is sticking to the price which is just beyond my budget. As a second option I was thinking of NHC. I will have to get back to doing another research for other options available at 9L OTR.

You have many options: Aveo, Verna, Fiesta, Sx4

My personal opinion is Aveo.
It is real VFM (even over Sx4).

Its got almost everything and at a price which is really competitive.
They also offer discount in the range of 30-35k (including corporate)

I rejected it because its not very comfortable while driving (I feel comfy is not there for tall guys above 5'10") and also my love for Cedia

And 1 more thing.....

Don't just reject NHC based on discussion on some of the threads.

There are many stastifed NHC users and it is still a good car.
NHC Gxi with that excellant milage is very good option.....
Provided you are ready to pay Honda premium price.

yeah, I am looking at NHC Gxi. With discounts etc it is working out to be aruond 8.5L. I can use the balance 50k for accessories like PU leather and alloys. Hopefully it can work out.

I voted for the cedia. Love the lines and curves on the car. 2 colleagues of mine own the sports version of the cedia. While one has a black the other has a white. I have been admiring both for over a month or 2 and cannot make up my mind which is more beautiful.

However i like the clean beige interiors of the NHC but thats it. Never liked the shape much.

Hey wheelsNsqueals, Cedia select is around 9.3 lacs (OTR) here in bangalore after the discounts. I am sure Bombay price has to be less than that.

@ Siva - Car prices in Bombay are way over other Metros. Cedia Select pre discount non octroi OTRs are:Individual - 920,996. Corporate - 978,984. They were offering a max of 30K.
@ Mobike - NHC Gxi pre-discount non octroi OTRs are : Individual - 817,641 and Corporate - 868,860. Discounts on offer 10K cash discount. Trying to stretch it at least 15K.

Mine would be a corporate registration :(
So, despite the Cedia tugging at my heart, I think I will go for NHC as the car will be in company's name and would be replaced in 3 yrs.

Hey, c'mon NHC is a good car, ain't it? Cheer me up!!!

lancer 1.5 is now going for 6.49. excellent price for a dated car.
