For clarity, i have changed Palio Stile to Palio Stile 1.1. If this is not what the topic starter wanted, PM me.

Getz is B+ segment along with Swift, so didn't include.

@sathya_nars, Would you like the poll to be amended to add or modify any option?
Right, I listed what Autocar mentioned & I meant Palio 1.1. I am ok to make it modifiable by people ONLY to add (that too with cars <4.5L), not delete.

For same reason I voted for Spark, forgot to mention the reason in my post. Additionally, I liked its look, too good.

Thanks, Stile 1.1 is what I intended. Can you also mention "(below 4.5L)" in poll question? I mentioned only in my first post, but people will vote after reading the poll question.

I wanted this poll to stick with B segment, helping people who are looking for cars in this segment. Not many people will want to move to next segment for Getz, Swift, etc (there is already another thread for B+).

I voted for the spark:

- The newest car on the block, though it is a tried and tested Matiz

- Best looking small car

- Good performance and FE

- 3 years of no headache. Will sell it off then

My vote goes to Palio Stile 1.1, the reason its as spacious as entry level sedan, best build quality, best ride comfort, good FE, improved A.S.S. TATA-FIAT has lot of scope to improve where others are already coming to saturation so A.S.S going down and also quality.

My next chocie is WagonR its awasome car for 4 people with airline comfort in B segment.

Santro is third choice it has great quality but not ideal for Indian roads because of its bumpy ride in bad roads, I liked travelling by my scooter rather than my Santro in bad roads.

Too early to comment about Spark and Estilo, Getz 1.1.

While comparing in B segment winner is Palio any day.

Regards,

Ravi.

I think the getz 1.1 is certainly under 4.5L & very much a B segment car.

My vote goes for the Santro Xing. A reliable car, as any owner will vouch for, and the looks arent as bad as the previous Santros.

Second for me, if there was an option would be the Spark. I just love the looks of the car from the outside. Hate the centrally mounted dials though.

'My choice of car' in B segment (< INR 4.5L)

I had a Matiz and was very happy with that; hope, Spark is better than Matiz.

Yes one of teh models is 4.5L onroad but that is the most basic only AC + Ps. the popular model for the getz is the GVS model which costs 4.86L.

It is a b+ segment car. Although similar to the palio stile 1.1 and the indica it's still a half segment above IMO.

hey OTR in chennai is 4.84 when i got it and plus i got a 10k discount.. for people in IT etc i think you ll get some additional corporate discount and also the extended warranty free afaik

regarding the poll voted for palio .. if tata gets used to the cars then *** should improve (fingers crossed) imo is among the roomiest and really not too many technical issues.

among all the cars listed my personal preference would be palio or spark. indica is nice too but not sure how the petrol variants fare compared to diesel.
