This also mysteriously went cold. Person not reachable soon after. Quote:

So essentially, i had to reach Shimnit through Value Suzuki itself to say Value Suzuki collected wrong plates and they want me to tell you to give right plates. Isnt it so funny. |
Literally not 1 time of 100s of times I tried reaching by phone was successful. I wrote to them many times by email, but absolutely no response. Finally, today the ordeal comes to an end. As usual, there's 0 communication from shimnit. I happened to book one more HSRP last week for my Max 100 and happened to be the same dealer/vendor. Suddenly yesterday, I received an SMS from SHIMNIT that the HSRP has already been affixed for my Access HSRP has been affixed successfully in your Vehicle number KA03HW4783 and Data is also posted in Vahan. Thanks for using Shimnit India
I was shell-shocked. I visited them today. Some new lady was handling HSRP at Value Suzuki. She immediately took out the reprinted plates for my access. I asked how I got the message that it was already affixed. She innocently said, it's just a procedure saar! I just have to click pic and upload and it will finish the process. I was taken aback. They are just clicking pictures of plates on the desk and finishing the process. Oh yeah, this is a high-security process . She seemed so innocent that likely she doesn't even know the process of completion is when plates are installed and pics of the vehicle with the plate uploaded are complete. Then I enquired about my Max 100 plates. She said they were also received. I asked why I didn't get the affixed message. She then again innocently says the letter between numbers was single. Most have 2 letters, this had just 1. So I wasn't sure if it was correct. Now you say it's correct, let me finish the process. She takes the phone clicks and uploads in like 10 seconds and I get an SMS of affixed. I was gladly allowed to carry the plates home. No install, no rivets, totally cool they are.
So, I was able to successfully downgrade plates to lower quality, not-so-legible font on my access by paying 250% for IND plates which are of better quality. I am just glad I was able to get through this nonsense ordeal.
Some pics of the poor font HSRP. 'W' and '4' look really horrible. W also looks a little like H. K and A are also very substandard. In some angles at a distance. A and 4 also appear similar.
Here are pics of poor font quality plates of Access and Max100: Poor font/quality HSRP: Poor font/quality HSRP: Poor font/quality HSRP:
Here are a couple of good plates I could immediately click post leaving the place. Good quality IND plate on my wife's DEO. Must be 7-8 years old, always parked on street and bike being a beater is subjected to constant abuse. Some random good quality, good font HSRP I clicked
