I would love to buy a 1.3 MJD engine with 4x4 which can take 2 people in comfort to remote places. It would be more fuel efficient than my current safari and lower running costs. I sincerely hope they launch it soon before my next buying decision happens.

Agree but why kill time repeating something that juts isn't going to happen, at least in the mmediate future? The Tata-Fiat JV is here to stay, for some time to come if not more. When the Head Honchos share a good rapport they will always keep trying to find ways and means to make the alliance work till it becomes a question of survival (Fiat's, in this case).

Much as I love the Bravo, bringing in models like the Panda might be a better option for Fiat's brand revival for now. At least it would sell a little more due to lower prices, if nothing else, and finally some more Fiats would be SEEN on Indian roads!

The new Small Car slated to be launched by Fiat in the Auto Expo 2012 should also help matters. I sincerely hope the Panda also gets launched by then.

The white Panda 4x4 that has come to our shores has not been imported by Fiat India. It has been imported by a rival company for R&D purposes.

Yes sir must be around Feb '15 and yes its white with black claddings. Sorry cannot provide any more info about it, but for sure Fiat India has not imported this car. I wish they do it though, the Panda 4x4 would be a great alternative to the premium hatchbacks in our market !
