If it'a fact...C'mon Maruti that's the way to do it.
Zen with the old jelly bean shape + 1.3L esteem engine .... Ahh Paradise for many zen lovers.

I think Maruti is better off launching Swift with a 1.6l engine, than relaunching the old zen.

Don't think so! That is why they launched Zen Estilo last year though it should have been WagonR Estilo!

Service guy mentioned that maruti is not satisfied with estillo sales hence a relaunch of the jellybean zen is on the cards... something to that effect. The good ol' jellybean with a 1.3 would be great wouldn't it?

If they had foresight, they wouldnt have even released the Estilo.
What were they thinking??!

they should just bring in the old zen with the 1.3 engine. that would be really great and keep the estilo too. one more model in their line up.

whats all this brouhaha about gentleman? yesterday i switch the ndtv channel and they talk about a possible launch of splash as either a replacement or a parallel existence to wagon R. the possibilities for this launch are very high, perhaps with the 1.3 mjd too needless to say. i like the front looks, but the rear sucks big time. hey maruti, for once give us a decent boot and 40/60 folding seats in your hatches.

as for the old zen, and zen estilo both have their markets, and the zen could come with the swift engine 1.3 M series (new one) and the estilo would be the preferred choice among ladies perhaps!

Busa, you are confusing the Estilo with the palio (stile).
Thats what happens when you spend too much time on a palio thread.

LOL EL, Palio Stile with a Esteem engine = EStile

I am dead sure the old Zen aint gonna be launched. For enthusiasts its a good car and for putting in a 1.3L engine MUL will have to update brakes, suspension, tyres and what not. Not feasible.

Where will new Zen fit in? Options:
1. Between Alto & Estilo
2. Between Estilo & WagonR
3. Between WagonR & Swift
