If they got rid of the rear windows and marketted it abroad as a cheap urban van, it would be a hit - not as a lifestyle estate

C'mon guys....its not thaaaaaat bad! It really looks better in person than it does in the pics. Its definatly more balanced than the Indigo.

Infact, I feel it looks better than the Siena wagon. I just wonder what kind of market there really is for a wagon? They really have a terrible image all over the world, unless we're talkin of the Audi's, Beemers, Benz or Volvo wagons. And ofcoure, the Magnum!

I guess it would make the perfect taxi right? Or would that be the Indigo?

hmm.....dint appeal to me at all.....the rear end is a bit too huge and the chrome strip gives the feeling that that it's trying to hide it's backside (read that as undi**) !!

the best looker amongst the SW is the Altura. it looks good...the fiat comes in a close 2nd. that my opinion though.

cheers

Be it altura v/s the baleno, the swing v/s the corsa or the marina v/s the indigo, I personally feel all these estates look far better than their sedan versions...

but if a comparison between the estates is called for than i would rate them in the following order of preference :

1) Altura
2) Marina
3) Swing
4) Palio Weekend

1. never said it was bad. just said it looked a sierra-indica cross (take a look at the rear "quarter glass" section).
2. i have always maintained that Tata should build a basic Indica to replace the Premier cabs. Time we upgrade this part of our public transport system.

I feel that instead of getting the Marina , they could have relaunched the Tata Estate with improved looks and quality. What u say guys??

Yo're not serious are you V12! The Tata Estate! Thats one step away from a Tempo traveller! The Marina is leagues ahead of the Estate and thanks to modern packaging, I think it will have more space inside that the Estate did, while being smaller on the outside.

Hmm....the rear looks kinda ugly. But its not all that bad either.Overall its bout average.
I wont be surprised to see the Tourist Guys lining up these Marina`s.If priced affordably and F.E is good enough.
