I HOPE the tan panel is a small one like the Kicks, not one of the dashes that carries on with the secondary colour all the way to the windscreen (like the Ford Freestyle). Those look too loud IMO.

Alongside that they should also do the following
1. Move the dead pedal further because current position is very near to the seat.
2. Increase battery size and let the power windows work even if the engine is turned off (in accessory mode)
3. Door auto unlock when engine is turned off.
4. Rear center passenger 3 point seat belt and head rest.
5. Higher center Console armrest (the current one is very low and unusable)
6. Reach adjustment for steering (not sure if they'll do it because this is expensive)
7. Auto fold and unfold outer mirrors when locking and unlocking.
8. 6 airbags as standard.
9. No sun roof option to be made available at top variants.
10. Better NVH (also doubtful is Nissan does this). Wheel cladding at the rear.
11. Better looking instrument cluster graphics. (Current ones look like Fischer price toy graphics-some more maturity like in the kiger would be fantastic)

This would be the perfect update and possibly start gaining more sales than what it's doing right now.

To me this looks more like a special edition than a facelift. Hope it's more than what I could see in the teaser.

Re: Nissan Magnite facelift could arrive by mid-2024; to be exported to LHD markets

I thought they would've brought their signature V motion grille to the facelift but it appears they went with the same Hexagonal one from Datsun.

Apart from features what Nissan/ Renault needs is a competent NA petrol engine. The NA engines were/are in their line-up is anaemic. NA variants account for majority of sales in Indian market. Turbo engines are not for everyone.

Using same incompetent engines in their upcoming products (Duster, Terrano) will make it DOA

Just hoping this facelift keeps Nissan afloat till new range of products arrive( whenever it may be)

It doesn't look like many changes are happening in this Magnite facelift. But hope I am wrong.
Nissan and Renault should try to move away from their VFM USP of Magnite and Kiger. The focus should be on improving the quality, as the customer nowadays is willing to pay more.

I hope that they would use the 1.3 turbo petrol engine and hopefully update the 1.5 DCI to BS6 standards but they probably wouldn't give a diesel engine to the new cars if they still wish to follow the Maruti trend.

Even the international reviews of the new Duster that I've watched say that the new 1.2 3-cyl turbo petrol is nowhere near as good as the old diesel as it doesn't offer as much torque on rough terrain/while overtaking a vehicle on the highway. Fingers crossed, they don't butcher the launch of the new Duster albeit Renault and Nissan have been on a 'miss' streak in recent years.

Not sure if the old Magnite had rear AC vents, but this Air Purifier video sort of confirms the presence of Central Console mounted Rear AC Vents as well. A good addition if it didn't exist earlier.

Eww! That tan color makes the interior look cheap, like something from Karolbagh market!!

The Earlier Black interior looks much better than this.

Re: Nissan Magnite facelift could arrive by mid-2024; to be exported to LHD markets

Looks like they addressed at least one customer complaint. That was the cheap knob type push pull door locking pins. In these leaked images, it seems there's no locking knob anymore for the facelift. They seem to have moved to the locking mechanism near the door release latch (like all the regular Marutis and Hyundais and Hondas).

Re: Nissan Magnite facelift could arrive by mid-2024; to be exported to LHD markets

For some reason, that front end gives me facelifted Datsun GO vibes. Maybe they had too much leftover stock?

Coming to the inside, that tan interior looks properly horrible, and really cheap. A bigger screen is also there by the looks of it, and is a welcome addition.

The taillights looks like LEDs, but I cannot be sure.

Why is Nissan not offering a new infotainment system? The ones being used date back to 2018.
