Also, they could have bundled a sunroof to attract more customers to the showrooms.
This is "hideous"? If this is "hideous" then cars like Aura, Exter, Figo Aspire and a lot of newer cars have no right to be on the roads. Talk about being biased. I know it is subjective and all but damn.

Also, why always point out what is missing rather than appreciate what is there (which in this case is an attractive price point)? And this Indian mentality of wanting more and paying less is an absolute bane for the country and businesses. No wonder Indian market is a mess.

I think this is the best looking sub4m crossover BY FAR. It is absolutely stunning to look at. I was hoping that the facelift would push it from the exter, punch segment to the nexon segment. Even if that isn't the case, this is a very value proposition right now.

Will definitely suggest to friends and family.

The Go is built on the V platform like the March, and it predates any CMF platform. I guess you mean the rediGo.

According to this door central locking isn't a feature until mid variant?

Is this a norm in this segment or is it Nissan specific?

What surprises me more is that the second from base model have a 9" touchscreen system (Visia+ and Acenta), while top variants (N-Connecta, Tenka and Tenka+) show an 8" floating touchscreen system, I hope it is the other way round.

My guess is that the lower variants get an android touchscreen, whereas the top variants get the OEM touchscreen.

Is it only me, who can see the Nissan logo about to be attacked by two cobras?

You are spending too much time on the "Snakes" thread of team-bhp.
On a serious note, I think this is a good option for people who are in the sub4m large hatchback segment (let me put it that way, because SUV it ain't, nor are others). We have the C3 Turbo for some added interest as well, although they still may need to up their premium cabin experience quotient a bit.

I am surprised that Renault has not worked on the Triber. A 1.0 Turbo Triber would have taken the wind out of the Ertiga and the Aircross, add to that 6 airbags and you possibly had the best rated 5+ seater compact minivan.

I found the front a bit too busy. There's too much happening there. Nissan's v motion grill would've looked better probably like the new Rogue.

The back is looking better now. The tail lamps are indeed looking great. I'll see if I can retrofit these to my existing Magnite CVT. And the auto dimming IRVM.

The Top End is now in the Mid End of the Sonet and Venue segment. What would be the reasons one would pick this over the Korean Twins or Brezza?

I’d like this to do well so Nissan can do more in India.

Re: Nissan Magnite facelift could arrive by mid-2024; to be exported to LHD markets

I think they have truly solidified and reinforced the Magnite. Looks were expected to be changed a bit more, true. And notwithstanding Mr Lee's enthusiasm, there is no doubt that we were expecting more. Feels like he kind of postponed this work until it was time for launch and he did a few tweaks hurriedly. But I'll discount that.. The car is just better now. I think the absolute next step that Nissan Global needs to do is to bolster their dealership and service network. That could be a true game changer as it will inspire confidence. And one other good thing is that like they say, one car for the world. I feel it will mandate Nissan to keep higher quality standards for the product now.

Re: Nissan Magnite facelift could arrive by mid-2024; to be exported to LHD markets

Wow! I am not impressed at all. At one point of time, my Micra was possibly one of the first Micras on T-Bhp back in 2010, when I embraced Nissan wholeheartedly. Their outlook was completely different at that time. In the course of 14 years, their outlook towards the Indian market has changed drastically and now all they give us is something that is aeons old (read as relevant prior to 2018) or they give us something that is way too costly (read as X-Trail). I am not against the Magnite per se, but Nissan's overall after sales experience has gone down steadily in front of my own eyes. I sold my Micra in 2018 for a pittance. Mechanically it was very strong in-spite of 40k kilometers on it, but the parent company's attitude towards it's own offspring was completely pathetic; so much so, that I had no choice but to get rid of it. I don't think they are really serious on the Indian market, if they were, they would have really gotten us some of the good cars from their global portfolio. Sad to say but one year down the line we would probably be discussing another facelift of the same Magnite.

Re: Nissan Magnite facelift could arrive by mid-2024; to be exported to LHD markets

For the price, the facelift gives a whole lot of functional features. Even their second to base variant is an all essential feature rich car. For those in that price segment, this should be an even more value for money car.

Outside India, Nissan cars are perceived as vehicles with strong reliability. We used to call them 'mules' - go-anywhere cars. I hope their Indian made cars are good too and grow their market share.

They had to dig deep to find best in something atleast. Shows the amount of effort (or lack of) they put into our market with a one horse trick.
