What car does your non-auto better half like?

My wife likes anything which is sleek specially OHC. She also likes Baleno.
And she used to love old Sonata also.
She hates SUVs and Indicas.. She says that she can settle for any car except Indica.

Honda Accord and Chevy Optra are my wife's favs in that order. The car she hates the most is my Palio in red

HAHAH ..... Interesting thread -- and only Rt could have started it ...

!!!

Maddie doesn't know whats the Mods all about or what exactly they do though over the past few yrs she has definitely learnt a bit -- but yeah she knows when the exhaust has been done up and loves the way the car moves coz a silent car is driven very sanely by me !!! So shes the one who pushed me out to get a exhaust on the Swift ...

She hates them small cars ... she loved the zen and would gladly buy another one but of the old shape -- she finds the new shape a bit too yucky . She likes the front of the SX4 but the rear has her put of , she claims it looks as if someone is walking with their *** pushed upwards .

She likes the jeeps ... the Mahindras , the Willys and has been after me to get one and work on it . She loves the look of the Hummer but says dreaming of them Ferraris and Hummers ain't no use -- rather a waste of time and energy so she would rather dream of cars that we can have sometime or rather hope to have . She loves the Cayenne .... loves the Skoda that too yellow !!

All in all not bad ... pretty much in sync with me --- !!! She wants us to get another Bolero .... and shes thinking about the other car after that but not decided yet but she wudn't mind me getting the old GTX back again ( she loved the ride in that ) .

PSS -- My mom loves yellow cars .... Maybe I should get her one :-) in that color !!

Well whats with the better half's and the CRV's

. My lady also loves the CRV.

She loves the Corolla too and thinks that it looks super cool and has that elegance. Wonder why am driving a baleno.

My wife likes the CRV (based on looks) and X5 (based on experience as a passenger)

She likes german cars especially audi's

Hates Ford's - when I hired a Mondy, she was totally repulsed

BTW, my wife also hates new CRV, too cute for her. loves old ones though. apart from that, she doesnt' care much about cars as long as she gets a comfortable quiet seat at the back. last wekeend atlanta we drove a chevy HHR, and she was happy to have sat in "something different"

Well here is breaking news

My GF likes the CRV too.

She loves the new one over the old one.

But given a choice and pots of money the cars she would buy are in order of preference -

1) the Mercedes Benz CLS

2) Any BMW

3) A Land Cruiser

my better half wants a merc, coz her ol house owner had a C class parked out there, thats it!!

i wonder how i managed to buy the swift,but somehow she loves it and best part misses the ol iKON for the good ride compared to swift

ps: she hates Crv afterall she has one parked in her garage !!! lol

Well my wife fortunately likes a cars that sit low to the ground so thats good for me when I have the money to buy one expensive low flyin sports car I won't have the "convincing the better half chapter".
She doesnt like other regular cars. Any other thing she'd like is the direct opposite. Huge pick-up trucks with knobby tires or a Jeep Wrangler with all the rugged add-ons.
And yes the color is loved more than the car. Color change = no love for a once favorite car

!
And oh did I mention she likes my car only because its mine but always has that * at the bottom which reads "if I had a choice I wouldn't buy a "chopped off car" = hatchback!

its funny how the old crv was such a hit with the ladies...even my gf likes the old crv,ford fusion,lancer(especially the autopsyched ones),bmw's,civic.
though palio and the old zen are also high on her desirability quotient.
