I dont recollect any car launch in recent times, that has been as awaited as that of the Hyundai Getz.

Obviously we want more information and where else to get it but Hyundai.co.in. Butttttttttttttttttt they have every product website listed except for the Getz.

No problem, the Accent website is www.hyundai.co.in/accent.

So I merely typed in www.hyundai.co.in/getz and voila - The Indian Getz website loads!!!

With all relevant information on specifications (Indian model), Colours (All 9 available on the Indian version), design, engineering and safety sections with much much more.

The website is still being developed and thus an important section such as pricing is still not available.

The Getz website is still not available through browsing on the Hyundai website -
Hyundai Indian products

Enjoy. Its a Team-BHP exclusive find.

hmmmmm.. Why in the world does a Tacho have to be a luxury feature!! I mean how much money would it take to put it in the stock model........ Stupid trend started by maruti on WagonR and now you see it in Getz!

Well well.... look at this... an engine comparison between the Getz 1.3 and the Esteem 1.3 !

Getz Esteem
Engine Displacement (CC) 1341 1298
Max Horsepower ( ps / rpm ) 82 / 5500 86/6000
Max Torque ( kgm / rpm ) 11.9 / 3000 10.7 / 3000

Sounds quite inviting!!!

Wow! Good find dude!
Functionality wise, the Getz looks pretty impressive. However, a tyre upgrade will do just fine. Otherwise, those flared wheel archs will just look to big - something like the Indica.
I hope those guys at Fiat wake up in time. Or else........

Never been a Hyundai lover but I must say this is really a good car. The design has shaped up well and it really feels much bigger than it actually is. Finishing also seems to be top notch and use of space is good.

This is one Hyundai i really wouldnt mind buying...

Now for a test drive

It's out for all to see now. This little banner on the Hyundai India corporate site takes you to the Getz site.

Update: Getz prices in 4 cities other than Delhi posted here.

Pretty nice for an upgrade from a santro. Good size for city driving but i wish they had giving an option for an automatic, my mom would have probably jumped for it.
I dont get why hyundai is not coming up with more automatic's. They could push accent sales up by gettin an auto option as the CVT city sales r booming hyundai could easily get the accent auto in almost a lakh cheaper than the CVT i suppose.
