Comparing with the uk website's 5 door GP, with the one here from rear three quarter pic, there is nothing changed. Except for having that small non-alloy wheels, every thing else is proportionate. It is bit bland because of colour and lower trim version may be.

This whole fiat launch has become some thing like hedging... one thread will claim it eventual launch. Other thread will talk about its eventual delay.

The white colour don't seem to gel well, looks like a cab. I guess tata is re-designing the bumper.

cheers:

maybe we have a generic fiat thread called "Fiat Launches and their never ending delays"

true... maybe the lower end trim makes it look bland

Nice catch Naikpranav. This looks like a cross between the Getz & Indica Vista. Hope FIAT prices it right. Considering the current situation they are in right now, nothing short of a miracle can help them.

I double that, and certainly agree.. The GP from the scoop pics hardly look inviting or attractive.. I'm sure I won't be missing this hatchback at all..

was in lonavala yest. evening happened to see a white grande punto with no camouflage not even one strip of black paper, not even on the badge...
couldnt click a pic as i was driving on the other side, but managed to take a look long enough to notice all this..
could it possibly be that the linea is delayed for the grande punto to come first??!!!!! or for em to be launched together??!!!
i know its a pretty crazy thought but a punto with no camouflage made me really curious!!

It looks like a real car - that's why they didn't have to camouflage it. The Linea looks like a toy, therefore the camouflage.

both of them are real cars, the linea was covered in a dotted tape and was kept behind some bushes almost out of sight. the GP on the other hand only had white patches on all the badges and kept in the open. IMO when u have it right in front of you and see it in the flesh, it reminds you of the palio, I hope the build quality is like the old palios, the new ones are pathetic.

Nice catch dude.

Definitely it wont be a hot hatch.
When a bigger sibling ( read , the Linea) has a 1.4 Petrol and a 1.3 Diesel, i dont think there would be a bigger engine than those in the Linea.

I doubt a 1.2 petrol and a 1.3 MJD ( both for excise benefits)

Don't kid me brother. Last I saw on the forum; U-VA, Palio and Getz are the only real cars around.

always liked the punto design, but i am afraid the FIAT will use cheap materials and give it a cheap build. and take forever to bring it to the market.
