TD cars - Given the sort of camoflauging done, they will attract more people on the streets with its zebra looks.

Has the rear bumper been shortened to make it below 4000 mm in lengh & qualify for excise benefits?

You are right, I have fallen in love with this beauty since I first saw her two years back . Can't wait for the day I am going to drive one!

Yes, It looks like Indica, because of high tail lamp cluster in both.
Not sure about Indica, but Grande Punto was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro of Ital Design.

Wow...Thats one great looking hatch and FIAT has stepped up their pace in launching the Grande Punto. I will be in the market for a car around june this year and GP will be a potential candidate. I think we might expect a 1.3MJD with a different tune for this car.

Giorgetto Giugiaro designed all the 3 (Indica, Palio and the Punto (Grande).

There are only two flavors of 1.3 MJD AFAIK. 75 bhp (palio, vista, swift) and 90/85 BHP (Linea).
Most likely GP will have the same spec as Linea

Internationally it is just 75 BHP and 90 BHP, but in India we had a 85 BHP tune, so I was expecting a different tune for GP to differentiate from Linea. It is not impossible, it depends on what FIAT wants to do.

Aah ha, there is the connection. So I'm not gonna buy the White colored one , others colors are looking good in pictures. I won't say smashing till I see the car myself. Till now I liked many of the Fiat car designs(Palio, Palio Stile, Linea even Adventure) that are launched in India except that Uno thing. Heck, I dreamt about owning a Palio initially but later backed out due to after sales service horror stories.

For me, Punto looks hotter than Linea. I hope FIAT will launch it by Apr-May time frame.

I think Gpunto will look more like Xylo. Compare punto with new Honda city, the latter(Hcity) looks very different and sets things apart and looks like the car for the future.

I saw the GP parked in a housing society in pune. It was parked in a dark corner and did not have flash on my phone camera. The car looks very good and will definitely give swift the run for the money, only if priced right and engined right.

The car I saw was black chequered up front. Punto was mentioned on a slip at the back

The pictures of both Xylo and Gpunto are out, Please compare and see yourself.

the NHC was really a refreshing design and the ANHC cannot boast of the same. Its not futuristic nor enthusiastic. its my personal opinion.
