Yup. Fiat is going the whole nine yards here. All of them available on the top end variant.

Personally, 90bhp diesel is excellent. It might not be a scorcher like the Getz CRDI, however, with Fiat's handling and suspension setup and ABS, I'd feel more comfortable going all the way in the GP!

Today I called up Pandit Automobiles, Pune and enquired about Punto's launch. They indicated the launch to be in first week of June but not confirmed. After asking the price range he said petrol to be in 4.5 to 5.5 and MJD to be in 5 to 6. I asked then what would happen to Palio MJD, he said it might be discontinued.

I'am bit confused with vague replies from such a reputed 'TATA-FIAT' dealer in Pune.

I dont find anything vague in his reply. It seems that none of the dealers are sure about the launch date. Even if they know, they may not disclose.

Regarding the price, I strongly feel that the price range what he has mentioned will be true

Spend Rs.30,000 more on Pete's and the power, I believe, will be up to 105bhp.

Grande Punto specs are out at a fairly well known Indian car site.

Try as I might I cannot put the name there. There must be copyright restrictions. Don't know. Take the first three characters: cub

The website's name is dedicated to the volume of a regular hexahedron or a 3 dimensional object having 6 square sides.....
