I think the title of the article says Grande Punto only.
Yes the content seems to have been taken from one of the posts on this thread apart from a few extras. They also mention tilt steering in the Active Variant.

Well the people from the mentioned site has been performing this task from quite a while know, They did it when "Parm" one of our fellow Bhpian posted the details about new Scorpio and whenever "Sid" does some scoop they just simply lift the post and Paste it "You read it First on".

They recently did the same when the details of the Ritz were posted in one of the threads, and above all the height of copying is not to change the font and order of information.

Seems the moderator of the Site would be a chinese guy or a guy obsessed with chinese habbits

This can be controlled.
If owners of TBHP, contact Google and hosting company of that site with proofs (Timestamp).
They take these things very seriously.
Content copying is a theft.

I am a webmaster.

Many time people copy content from my sites without giving any references.

I compalin against them and it usually takes 3-4 days for the site to go offline.

grande punto launch

I CAN CONFIRM 100% PALIO WILL NOT BE DISCONTINUED.

Logical query..

Thanks to Sid for the info on Jazz.

Seems like Jazz will come in only one variant which will cost 7lacs ex-showroom.

On the other hand, for 6 lacs ex-showroom, we get the top end variant of the GP 1.4 .
Both the mills churn out 90ps. Both the mills are comparable as they duel it out in the international arena. Being 200cc more, the Fiat should be torquier.
Both the rides have ABS & airbags.
The Fiat also comes with Climate Control, Blue&me & alloys.
Looks is a personal department, so there should be no comparison there.

Without all the extra goodies and at a premium of an additional 100 grands, how does the Jazz stand up against the GP?

It doesn't if you compare car for car and not manufacturer for manufacturer

A car to car comparison is done worldwide- except India, here its manufacturer for manufacturer by majority.
So i still feel Jazz will sell more than petrol GP(extra price wont stop people as its a Honda) and GP will sell majorly in diesel version.
@sidgo- will be great if we can know the details by tommorow

Looking at how Serious Fiat has been with Linea , GP should be another winner. It has got almost everything spot on. All to Fiat now to price it well. I think Honda has made a blunder by planning to launch only 1 version for Jazz. I think Fiat should be able to sell more GP's than the Jazz.

If sources are to be believed, petrol model starts at 4.5 (2 models of petrol) and diesel one is 5.5 (both ex show room)

Additionally, if someone was looking for a decently powered diesel hatch with all safety features such as ABS and Airbags, Grande Punto will be the only hatch as of now. So, it is bound to sell.
[Edit:] Missed the Skoda Fabia, though a little costly and underpowered.

Sid, you gave a hope to Palio users and prospective Palio buyers

I hope Palio relaunches now with new interiors and with price cuts so both GP and Palio are placed in decent gap.

I'm anxiously waiting for your post on GP launch along with its exact price and tech specs!
