hey guys, i love my linea and looking to replace my Palio.
I hope the GP replaces the palio. Depends on Dad, but i'll manage to convince him. lol

coming to the point,
the GP had to be shortened by around 20mm or so, to qualify for excise duty reductions for cars under 4m length.

Has this been done,?

if yes, how does it look? is it obvious, or well integrated?

Thanks for the information Ram, that's a great news, i was eagerly waiting for the launch of GP.

Now it seems finally they are going to launch the beauty, also agree with Rudrah, that when the launch date is this near (2nd June) they should have atleast started the Teasers on Air.

As we are in Navi Mumbai, lets plan a visit to the Nearest TATA-FIAT dealer to take a look at the vehicle, already had a talk with Amit in this regard, now Rudrah's confirmation is needed, lets fix a date & time after the Beauty is launched

It is actually 4030mm. So need to be shortened by 31mm which is not much - just a little more than an inch or only 3 cms. It can be easily reduced by modifying either the front or the rear bumper. Protrusions in the front bumper are more, so that is the obvious section, but the cost of changing the dye would also be more. Fiat must have weighed the cost of changing the bumper design with the reduction in ex-showroom price because of reduction in excise duty applicable, and this reduction is quite useful to bring down the ex-showroom cost say from 5.20 to 4.99.

Looks like Fiat wants to steal Honda's thunder. Launching it a week before the Jazz sounds perfect. I hope they will be able to keep up with the E Pack demand this time around. But I have a feeling that the Dynamic would sell the most.

I am also eagerly waiting to know the colors. Personally I am not very happy with the Linea colors. Hope we get that Red and Blue colors shown in the pics of international GPs.

Yeah Ritz teaser is launced on TV quite some time back and now they have full commercial AD too!
