The vents would be the 2 rectangular slots where the dash cover is missing. The cover, when it goes on would have the vents. The CC unit seems to be there on the dash, below the gaping hole. Looks like the audio unit is missing.

Maybe it feels sluggish since max torque is at a relatively higher rpm?

The top end blue does look really nice. Pricing would be crucial.

And btb, the badge at the rear shows only 'punto' and 'grande' is missing..Is Fiat planning to use the term 'Grande' for its future versions??

That will be saved up for the 'facelift' a couple of years down the line. It's a standard procedure followed by all manufacturers here, especially Maruti.

Ok guys some more details are out.@ engine options for petrol-1.2 base version and the other versions to have 1.4 motor. The diesel unit is the same as linea diesel. One surprising thing is that the oil change is scheduled for 12 mnths or 30k kms.Looks wise i20 is apreciated more than the GP by most of the lookers.Feature wise also i20 scores over the GP.Price starts by 4.5 lakh.Dash board is ditto linea-almost ,atleast maybe similar set up.More news would be flowing tommorow when more details are out.

wow diesel & petrol engines same as linea?
That will be some awesome powerful hatch.

Yes the parts seem same as Linea.
The steering, vents, ACC, console (though color is different) .. everything looks similar to Linea.

Subjective! I love the GP.

Well if the feature list put up by Sidgo7 is correct, I think GP (Emotion+) isn't any inferior.

That means they are using fully synthetic oil, rather than plain jane mineral oil.

Dude.. I really hope it is the same 90 BHP VGT in Linea! Too much mood swings now (VGT -> FGT -> VGT)

I'll need to meditate....

haha Almost everybody is hoping against hope to get that VGT Engine. The posts have kept that suspense alive. But if you notice, most confirmation posts have talked about the 75 Bhp FGT engine.

I20 interms of looks( exterior/ interior) is an overall winner for sure. The FIAT guys should not forget that once the diesel I20 is out with an Okaish Price tag( slightly high ofcourse), it would be a killer product IMO.

If only the VGT graces the Punto we might have a winner on our cards. But the Fiat guys are playing the fuel efficiency card for their resurrection and chances are bleak at least for now.The VGT wouldnt hog too much of fuel and affect the efficiency that much. It might be about 2 KMPL at the max.

But i would like a pleasant surprise though.

Will they play the enthusiast's Card or the common man's Fuel efficient Car card?

I think they should play enthusiast's card! enough fuel efficient cars already.

Also, the Punto will be awesome! It was so much popular in Europe and literally saved FIAT over there.

I just hope it comes with all the bells and whistles with which it was available internationally.
