Why do you expect it to be priced below Swift? You are expecting too much in terms of pricing.
Expected pricing of GP:
PETROL-4.5-6.0 EX SHOWROOM
DIESEL-5.25-6.5 EX SHOWROOM

1.If they can price linea below competition why not GP
2.Its my first buy
3.I know fiat is a good product - but the Prior A.S.S stories giving Thunder Showers in my mind
4.Keeping point 3 in mind , i m thinking that "Am i taking a risk" as the Swift is a proven product already. so why pay more for a new product which is in the same class.(Not engine wise purely A.S.S)
5.Still i love fiat.. If i am buying a car it will be either GP or i20 as Swift is having the W-Period for 3 months.

Great Catch, Edmund.

The car surely feels good with some 'class-act' alloys to add.

Hope the market-price and A*S*S promise does not serve as a dampener.

Looking forward.

hmmits eons and finally it's confirmed. But guys what's Fiat doing to gain customer confidence? Still continuing with the shabby service andstep motherly treatment from TATA. Food for thought-Will TATA showroom guys will promote their own Vista or the Punto?
All Fiat products are excellent. But unless Fiat rejig their service departments dont expect this car to do fair numbers.

Here is one shade of red that Fiat may be offering. Dont like this one at all actually, makes the GP look very ordinary.Though the GP I saw a few days back at Marine Drive was I guess (and hope) of the formula red variety.

I am just not happy with the design of the alloys that is being provided with the Indian GP. The original design for GP was a classic. Have a look at this white GP being sold in Turkey with the original design but in 17 inches! Of course, its insane to think about that size for our roads, but it would be great to have them in 15/16 inches as optional extras. Its called the NFS edition alloys! Now thats what I call a proper Grande Punto.

A very old picture actually. It was uploaded on our forum some time back. Yes, it is a LHD Punto that was on display along with the other Fiats at Concorde Motors, Bangalore last year.

i think i had posted this , not only punto but the rest as well, bravo , linea and the 500 . The interiors were a class apart i thought they would be the same but when i saw the linea after it was launched i was shocked , so i guess the punto will be the same.
