well palio sdx MJD and vista aura QDJT are almost selling at the same price. Tata doesnt seem to mind that.

@coolboy007 it would not be less than 6L infact i quoted geeash (couple of entries back on the same page). and then thought that if swift vdi abs @ 6L otr mumbai then punto D e+ @ 6.25otr. still IMO it would be a great buy.

then i feel it wouldnt come in vista's way, so Tata should be happy.
Cheers!

Tata has a 50% stake in Fiat India as well. It's in their best interest to see that the GP does well.

I personally doubt if GP will affect Vista sales.

WOW..!! What a beauty, Looks Killer in Red, If the pricing is right, then FIAT has a Killer product on its hands, with that Fantastic 1.3MJD under the hood it should sell like hot cakes.

Come on FIAT bring it on.

Regarding the case in which Punto can affect the sales of the Vista, i have personally seen customers coming in for the TATA Cars & end up buying a FIAT Car

Exactly, thats the most important thing which i had in my mind when i bought Linea. If TATA hadnt had 50% stake i wouldnt have picked up a fiat knowing well in advance how they would treat fiat customers with utter disrespect like taxi drivers.

Its Tata's Loss if GP doesnt do well, their investment at ranjangaon plant will go waste which Tata would never like.

was in Concorde Motors this evening.
one of the salesman was saying that they have received 6 cars(1 each for display at each of the centres and 2 each as TD cars.) and all of them are in the Concorde Motors stockyard (which i think is on hosur road)
also, he says the launch is on 15th June (i doubt the validity of this info though)

Okie guys, here is some info. Saw 3 GP's today and checked them out. The car looks simply mindblowing. The fit and finish is very good too.The doors are pretty solid and close with a 'reassuring thud' The rear looks a lil funny, but i guess it'll grow on people as time passes. the Interior is good too, some plastics are a lil rough, but still, very well put together. Checked out the Emotion and the emotion pack. The E+ Has climate control, blue n me, alloys etc, but the Emotion is pretty well loaded too. All the versions had black interiors!!If they somehow price the emotion at around 5.7 lac on road, i'm sure it'll be a runaway success. Managed to click some pix too.

P.S: The formula red looks awesome, and is available on the diesel too!!

Yes, same here. May be the photo resolution? Not sure. But for sure the formula red is great.

It looks better directly, than in the pix. The pix were taken on a rainy evening with a phone cam.

Me too! :(
Only black interiors. Didn't like them in Swift either!
Let's wait and watch how it looks in flesh. I would have loved Liena's Flamenco Red as well. Black looks a killer, any photo of the alloys?

interiors are the same as Linea , only the color is different , nothing great about it.Plain and simple and fairly modern IMO.

Jay thanks for the pictures , how was the leg room at front and back , boot space. Does the emotion come with alloys and wider tyres?
The red one looks like it is the emotion variant, is the petrol or diesel ?

This interior pics are taken of the Emotion and not Emotion Pk (see the car in red does not have alloy wheels but says "emotion" which means that some interior finish is absent - subtle things that matter like steering mounted audio controls, leather wrapped steering wheel etc..
