Loved the website and the tag line. Its funky and cool, hope the car lives upto its image in India having delivered a sterling performance the world over. I hope there are not let downs this time around from Fiat.

Thanks SID. FGT was already confirmed by me almost 2 weeks ago when I received mail from CEO of Fiat. I am little disappointed by interior pics someone posted here, so eagerly awaiting interior pics of E+ variant. I hope Fiat makes it more upmarket & appealing. Linea's white console was much more appealing. Let's wait and see what we can get in GP finally here in India.

Don't crib about 1.2 active, you can buy 1.4 active also.

How many of punto buyers will even look at 1.2? I think only 1 in 25.

Yes, Fiat guys at training told that a semi-synthetic oil will be used, so the oil change will be at 30k.

The shade of red is not know to me, but is the same red as seen in the 2 pics posted earlier in this thread.

you must have some real super human powers to decipher a difference of 1ps and 7nm when starting a car

No idea.Guess playing around with REs or was it just the anticipation?
Anyways, 1 ps doesnt make much difference to me.Its always the torque.

Thanks for confirmation, sid.

The 1.4L 90bhp engine should be really powerful to drive. Same engine in my Linea feels good (adequate power), so it should rock in the Punto.

The 1.3 FGT seems to have good enough torque. The VGT-90 might be released next year when Linea's engines are upgraded to 1.6-120hp.

People wanting power shd go for the 1.4L petrol. For both FE+Torque .. go with MJD!

Hope Punto takes over from Linea's success.
