The front design seems to be taken from VW Virtus and the rear from Hyundai Aura, maybe it's only me thinking that way

The front grille of the Dzire is reminiscent of the Innova Crysta's. There are several design elements that recall cars from different brands. However, the overall design stands out, and this is probably one of the best-designed Maruti cars ever, based on the available pictures. If the car looks as good in person as it does in the photos, I have little doubt that it will be one of the best sellers in the market, notwithstanding the somewhat underwhelming engine.

It may seem like a Toyota shaped grill, because Toyota may rebadge this in a few months and launch their own badge engineered version.

When this latest gen Ertiga was launched, even I thought that it looked like a small Innova Crysta, and will fit nicely below the Innova in Toyota's line up, and then Rumion was born.

Maruti Suzuki and Toyota are designing the new/facelift cars in such a way that it is easy for both of them to sell these cars with their respective badges! I'm looking forward to this Dzire, even though I'm not a sedan guy...

I think now more and more Suzuki cars are going have a strong Toyota profiles, also these are times when more and more car makers are establishing their brand unique design languages. Just see how Hyundai are moving to straighter profiles, not long long till Maruti Suzuki develops theirs as well.

Apart from the odd rear 3/4, the new Dzire looks really good to my eyes. Front end looks like a car sold internationally. Controversial opinion here, but the rear also looks really nice - gives me M2 vibes. Rear 3/4 does look like it's been chopped. Surprised to see the rumored addition of a 360 degree camera to the features list. Overall, a commendable effort by Maruti ( if the rumors are true about the features, etc).

It's great to see Maruti make bolder and bolder designs lately, the new dzire looks upmarket and finally has its own distinct look.

Look how far the MS in house design has come ! from the first gen brezza to the new dzire.

Although you have your options narrowed down, for other readers: I've driven the Amaze and Dzire extensively, please take a test drive and sample rear seat comfort before making a decision. The Amaze lacks rear seat comfort and the under-thigh support is not great. Interior feels boring too with thin door and flimsy doorpads. The early 2022 Honda Amaze model that my friend got had a very bad music system and Apple Carplay kept on crashing. The only thing going for it was the sorted handling and butter smooth CVT. The Dzire had a better vibe inside with beige interiors, great rear seat recline and support.

These were my exact thoughts when I first saw the leaks that how similar the front looks to the Crysta.
How unusual it is that a sedan fascia looks identical to a MPV fascia.

Next-gen Maruti Dzire details leaked: Variants & Tech specs

Earlier today, Maruti Suzuki opened the order books for the 4th-generation Dzire. The compact sedan will be launched on November 11. Now, fresh details, including variants and engine specifications, have leaked online.



The new Maruti Dzire will be available in four variants: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+. The top trims will get features like LED headlamps with LED DRLs, dual-tone alloy wheels, and a single-pane electric sunroof. Other features that will be offered in the new Dzire include a touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a blind spot monitor.

Apart from the variants, technical details of the new Dzire have also surfaced online. The car measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,735mm in width, 1,525 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,450 mm. Its gross weight is 1,375 kg.

Powering the new Dzire will be a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine. The new Z12E engine produces 80 BHP and 112 Nm and will be offered with a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT.
