Any improvement on the safety rating, this is the most important aspect and if Maruti is able to make a difference as compared to the earlier version it would be fantastic, else will completely skip it for we have seen a lot many Dzires reduced to heap of metal

Also, cofused between kerb weight and gross weight, google says gross weight is when the car is loaded with passengers and luggage. Why would a manufacturer report gross weight? What extra value does it have against kerb weight which gives better idea about how heavy a vehicle is?

You have to give the Japs credit for the design they have given to India's favorite sedan/cab!
It's designs like these that makes one buy the higher variant.
The light setup goes very well with the fascia and enhances the look of the grill.
I expect to see a major share of the upper variants in the sales!

The New generation of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire has been unveiled with the launch scheduled for November 11th.

Some key features (Summarizing various points) :

- New Z-series Petrol engine
- 82hp and 112Nm of torque.
- Sunroof
- 360 parking camera
- Completely new design
- 5 speed Manual and AMT to be offered.
- Cruise control (Top spec only)
- 6 airbags, Hill hold, ESP, ABS with EBD and brake assist.
- Interiors are pretty similar to the swift.

Good to see both cars being differentiated.

Marurti Suzuki Dzire unveiled alongside its media drive in Goa:

- Reviews to be out on Nov 12th, after its price reveal on 11th.

- Includes segment-first electric sunroof, 360-degree camera.

- 163mm GC. 5 speed AMT/manual, 382l boot, 15 inch dual tone alloys.

- As far as safety goes, the new Dzire has six airbags, ESP, hill hold assist, ABS with EBD, brake assist, three-point seat belts for all seats and ISOFIX mounts. Maruti has also equipped a standard rear defogger for all Dzire variants.

This new DZire is definitely the best looking MS that will be on sale. It looks like a very "Dzirable" car now , coupled with the new features.

However the 3 cyl 1.2 remains a disappointment and the 1L turbo is missed

I checked the source images from the Instagram account of Evo Magazine and it looks like an active TPMS with individual pressure readouts for each wheel.

It is seeming increasingly like they are targeting private buyers and keeping the 3rd generation for fleets. In that case the new Honda Amaze has its work cut out.

I think a rebrand could have helped attract more private buyers due to the taxi image of the Dzire name. Like "Dzire Esteem". Or maybe they will have a Toyota version.

Thank you so much for specifically pointing this out. I'm pretty sure many Youtubers who don't read teambhp are going to tell "interior is exactly the same". That's the norm these days.

I remember one particular Youtuber who made just a 5 minute video on Magnite facelift launch event saying t"here is no change other than the leatherette". On the other hand MotorInc had a brilliantly detailed video about all the changes done on Magnite facelift.

This car actually looks more Toyota than Maruti Suzuki to me frankly. But if they have packaged the interiors well, it should be a really good option and may bring regular customers to the compact sedan category, which is now being relegated to commercial business.

Why would they even bother to change that. Unless compared side by side, no one wouldn't even notice that piece changing and it doesn't even seem anything substantial to differentiate both.

Because it looks a lot more premium in Dzire compared to sea of hard black plastic in Swift?
