This is looking like mature product and very Dzire-able!

• Front has previous generation Verna vibes and
• Rear has strong resemblance to Honda City 3rd Gen

Even the Amaze is getting a new generation, looks like a last jab at sub-4m sedan segment by the Japanese duo.

I have the same feeling. I don't think Maruti will invest so much into differentiating a product/segment which is loosing it's sheen rapidly. Dzire has always been Swift with a boot with a slight nip/tuck to bumpers/taillights.

Didn't like the design from the spy pics. Buy hey, finally a Toyota (Innova) influenced Maruti for you. So this is another sign of integration perhaps?

This is the first time I liked the exterior styling of Dzire. It is just my hope that Maruti would consider giving it a CVT/TC and not AMT (I know it won't happen). Honda should launch the next generation Amaze soon.

Never ever liked Dzire and it is the first time it impressed me.

I hope it doesn't come with a 3 cylinder engine now !

Actually if you look at the current DZire the bodywork is quite different from the 3rd-gen Swift. The windscreen pillar has a completely different shape and the body panels are all different, even up to the B pillar. This was not the case with the 1st and 2nd generations.

After years and years of producing meh designs, Maruti has nailed it on this one. Love the looks. This thing will fly off the shelves for sure, provided they don't go overboard with the pricing. Hoping they provide a TC automatic at least on the top variants.

I think it is the colour, angle and presence of sunroof which it makes so attractive. Otherwise it won't be very different from the current gen DZire in terms of overall appearance barring the headlamps, tail lamps and grill, IMO. Top hat, A, B, C pillars, rear windshield design etc may remain the same (which is not bad).

The A,B and C pillars look almost the same as the current Dzire. In fact the A pillar looks almost like a carbon copy to my eyes. The doors are different though which makes me think that this might be based on the same platform as the current gen Dzire but thoroughly revised, in which case safety is most likely going to be iffy, like the new Swift.

Car looks fabulous. Swift is sold under Arena, and Dzire under Nexa?(As it looks feature rich) Why would they do that? Swift has a great name, I think it must have been the opposite or is it because Swift is international product and MSIL is forced to sell it as it is?

This is looking 'amaz'ing, Looks like Suzuki has decided to give the Dzire an identity of its own, no more a Swift with a boot. It looks so much more Basalt-ish now. From the looks of it, seems the car has grown in width.

Is it a true design collab between Suzuki and Toyota this time? as the front end is very Toyota-esque, even the side profile is more Toyota than a Suzuki.

Overall an appealing design, in the sea of SUV and Pseudo-SUV's, this looks like the much required butch design for a compact sedan.

I don't think they will sell dzire under Arena anymore considering the features such as Sunroof being offered. NEXA is meant to be more premium, if a car under Arena gets more features than most cars under Nexa, what sense does it make?
