I think for VX trim is the most VFM model. Being a City 5th gen owner, I have mixed feelings about the rear design, but in case if I am in the market to buy a budget car, I would definitely consider Amaze.

Surprised to see Honda pricing their car sensibly. Kudos Honda! Not a mouth watering proposition but competitive pricing nonetheless.

Honda went conservative by reusing parts and design elements from their stable. Only miss I would say is the timing of the launch. They took too long to launch and that too without many visible changes from the outgoing model. If they had launched ahead of Dzire then could have made an impact. For now Dzire has the Spotlight. Hope this new Amaze brings more footfalls

The Amaze gets a higher ground clearance, ADAS, CVT, better engine, projector headlamps and a bigger boot over the Dzire. Also looks better tyred than the Dzire but that could be my eyes playing tricks.

Its decently priced, matching the Dzire ZXI+ MT to the dot.

Good for the segment.

Hi, as per new Amaze brochure it has 3995mm length, 1733mm width and 1500mm height with 185x60xr15 84H tyres.

It seems like there is Cruise control (Adaptive + LKAS) only on the top variant like the Elevate (only ZX gets CC)
That's a contrast compared to the City where we get cruise control from the V variant itself.

Finally atleast the top end gets cruise control, something which the Amaze was denied of all this while. I think AT+Cruise control makes a good combination.

When the headlights are in the AUTO position, they automatically turn on when the front wipers operate several times within a certain interval. The headlights turn off shortly after the wipers are turned off or if there is enough ambient light.

This is a major miss in the 2nd gen Amaze. Cruise control - CVT combination would be such an enabler on highway. Thanks for listening to customer feedback Honda

Bang on. One can't go wrong with a Honda The reliability is remarkable. The AMT can't measure upto true autos like CVT with their head nod. The 3 pot engine also can't match upto the refined 4 Cylinder IVTEC. Although Maruti trumps on Mileage here!

Honda is the only OEM offering anytime warranty upto 10 years. Albeit with some conditions.

Amazing combo, ticks almost all practical boxes. Reliable engine, almost all safety features on offer, good crash testing (hopefully 5 star rated)

The only downers in real world condition is a not so enthusiastic engine. For sedate point A to point B drivers, this is good enough.

I wish, ADAS gets tricked down to lower variants as well.

If and when testing agencies start reducing points for lack ADAS, we can hopefully start seeing ADAS from the lowest trims.
