Is that a keyhole on the driver door? I am assuming they used the top spec car for the teaser and it would be a colossal mistake to not give keyless entry. While I like the overall design, I guess like most on this forum I too think this will be another dud in the Citroen quiver.

Even I noticed it. This shouldn't be a deal breaker if everything else fits in but still, it was expected. Also, the keyhole looks like an ugly spot in a beautiful red colour. They could have at the least matched it with the color of the car.

Hope this Citroen is launched with 6 airbags and a Tachometer.

Jokes aside, the design looks promising. But I doubt regarding the success of SUV Coupe in general in the Indian market. I am not too hopeful of either the Basalt or even Curvv and Arkana, given the kind of design preferences Indians have in general with SUVs.

I hope the coupe SUVs don't face the same fate as the estates/station wagons had in India.

The headroom does look indeed a bit tight. But that looks like a fantastic rear seat. Just look at the height of the backrest, will put nice sofas to shame! True to their legacy, Citroen is surely not skimping on comfort.

They haven't teased the dashboard, have they? They should have used the opportunity to upgrade the interior of all their cars; I outright dismissed the eC3 because of poor plastics and cabin feel. The Euro-spec model looks much better in comparison.

Ughhhhh! Those ugly flap type door handles are an eye sore to me. The front looks like a facelifted version of the Mahindra Nuvosport that has been long discontinued!

Cost cutting seems to be in place, flap type door handles, no keyless entry, though the car looks good and proportionate, it seems interior will be made to budget.

Seems they want to keep the price down, an introductory 9.99 lacs could be the target considering the TCS and road taxes one pays after crossing 10 lacs.

The Curve and the Basalt will change the car scene introducing a new segment to mass-produced cars. certainly, I think Tata Curve will have a more chunky design than Citroen as their design vision plus Tata Curve would have a better road presence. The citroen looks appealing but till now they have failed to regain trust in the Indian Markets!

Sometimes I even think the launch of EVs and pushing EVs has destroyed the Car Designs as older ones were so nice to look at and now they all look the same. Look at the new BMW 5 series for example they have completely ruined the design.
