hi all

I'm Manish. Please see my earlier posts about building an electric quad-bike. Well, the project has taken wings and right now, I'm building it. I have bought the necessary stuffs for it, like motor and all. The chassis has been designed and its being welded. Please see my blog on the project: GreenMile~ India's First Electric Quad Bike

Please check it out. Also, I'm have got an offer to build IC engine versions of the same.
About Adventure Wheels, I contacted them through mail and they were prompt and he called me back. They soon sent me a brochure and the required details and all.

Regards

Bigman,

the cost's depend on the model you want to buy, there is a 450cc sportsman, a 800cc sportsman, a 90-100cc sportsman. and the sports models are predator and outlaw. you can also see phoenix if you like.
kindly google these names (predator, outlaw and phoenix) or just check it out on the website. also, the predator currently is availble in 90cc and pheonix and 200cc and outlaw is 450cc. the pricing of the sportsman 450 and 800 will be around 7-10 lacs. i will confirm once you tell me your model choice.

Re: Where to buy? Quad Bike / ATV

I think there was a brand shown at the Autocar Performance Show this time. Was that promoted by Navnit?

Looks like there are many companies with their off-road products in the market but do these actually generate enough sales numbers?

Re: Where to buy? Quad Bike / ATV

In Pune if anyone wants to buy/have a look at decent ATV's you can see them at Balaji Automobiles on Paud Road just after the Kothrud Depot bus stop. Its a multi brand 2 wheeler dealer. They sell Harrison Motors ATV. LAst time I saw they had 50 cc through 250 cc for display.

I guess there is a dealer for this stuff at Wakdewadi Pune. Next to Bavaria BMW showroom in Wakdewadi. I saw some ATV, a k1600 and a S1000RR parked in the showroom while passing it today in the morning.
