A one-off case RJ. Nothing to really worry about. But this article does remind me of some tuner saying that adulterated diesel can have disastrous results on the CRDi.

Watch where you tank up...especially on the highways.

i dont think theres much of a problem...my crdi is driven pretty rough, n sips on all kinds of diesel (good to bad)....although i try to stick to super diesel n turbojet as far as possible...n after 16500kms...there hasnt been even one hiccup! Touch wood!

Again , the fuel is passed through filters . So I dont think the pumps are to blame as well . May be the A.S.S didnt change the fuel filters
