Thats quite a bad crash there . I hope there wasnt anyone in the rear . It would be very difficult to survive this one. I hope no ones hurt

Damn, this one sucks.
On a similar note, I was rear-ended in my Jeep by an identical bus once. Was waiting at the Siddhivinayak signal red light. Suddenly I felt a huge impact and my jeep leapt 15 feet in front (luckily not a car at the cross intersection). There was a family of 4 in a zen to my right, and they were shocked by what they saw. I stepped out and there was this huge bus whose brakes had failed. He crashed into the rear of my Jeep at atleast 30 - 40 km/h. My Jeep literally flew ahead even though I had my foot on the brake pedal (dont use the handbake on stop lights).
The damage to my Jeep? Just the rear tailgate got bent by about 10 degrees in the center. Cost? Rs.1200 ONLY at a Mahindra authorised service center. Including painting. That rear tailgate of mine weighs atleast 20 kgs!!

Happened to me too....was driving my 800. Just started moving on a green light and had to break 'coz the guy in front did. This conty guy who was behind me failed to notice and banged into my car... I escaped with a dent on the hatch but the conty broke its bumper. Dunno how the fragile 800 skin caused that!
I was not banged by a bus, but after one week I bought my Palio, an Esteem hit me from behind at a signal. When I peeked in to the car, it was a kid driving the car.
Fortunately not much damage to my car. Only the cover over the towing hook was broken. When I got that kid out of the car, he was getting his pant wet.
This is in Calcutta. Buses there are like demons.

Right Rudra. its in Calcutta.
No Rear seat passengers in that car, only Driver who escaped but with injuries.
And Yes, the buses are demons over here specially whenever they see a competition !!
And over this demons there are LITTLE DEMONS
(autos)....zooming in & out from nowhere to every where.
It's tough driving here except few roads.

Yeah same thing happened but this time from front
This was some 8 yrs down the line my Fiat was at Carnac Bunder Rd and there was a trailer *those very long ones suddenly he started comin behind my dad is honking but he could not hear anything coz it was soooo long and it hit my fiat's radiator flying in air, engine completely damaged, windsheild cracked *.. dad got out *in time or else ........ * May be 5 other cars were damaged ...
Man, thats a scary one!!
