There are few rumours that the sedan based on the Ford Verve could be the Next Gen Fiesta hitting Indian roads 2009 end-2010. A 1.6 TDCI with all safety features and price tag around Honda city would make this quite tempting!! Please dont treat this info as 100 % confirmed .

Interiors not as good as the looks from outside (It is surely one head-turner from all angles!)
Is it really coming to India!?

Mere speculation. India might put a man on the moon before Ford decide to bring the Verve to our cratered shores.

I certainly dont think this would be heading to Indian shores soon.
It it does, it would make the Civic look old in front of it.

Looks like a beauty. ANd also i do agree with benbsb29 .
After seeing the interiors i feel ford is one who can really design sporty meters. As in the once on their fiesta are good and this one is excellent.

Forget the concept car.

Ford's too pricey.

I can pick up a indigo XL for the price of a Ford's small car.

I can pick up 2 second hand Safari Dicor neatly maintained for the Price of the Endevour.

They are not good in pricing any cars. Except for the Fiesta and the old Ikon

But the above car looks so masculine and so damn well built. It'll be ages to see this car on Indian roads.

Karan, dont you think the car looks a lot toned down now in the production version?
Definitely needs alloys.

The concept looks nice and futuristic. hope Ford retains most of the design elements in the production car when launched here. But I'm quite sure Ford won't launch in this year end, As they had recently launched the updated Ikon also.

Sure it does. No chrome handles, no chrome inserts in headlamps , no alloys!
Ford has gone the Honda way in cost cutting. We need to see when this hits Indian shores. Maybe 2010 atleast ! But the rear does remind me a lot of the New Mondeo.

This is an awesome car and ford should seriously get this in both hatch and saloon form and replace with the fiesta. This step will help ford strenthen its position in the market.
