I have been suggested that Intense Black looks ravishing. I have however seen mostly Crystal Mica on the road. And I find Sparkling Silver also interesting.

Suggestions on what color would a 1.6 base Optra be best in?

Intense Black is the colour goes well with the shape. Well this my view only. You can go for black if you can look after the paint properly.. and trust me, it's a real pain.

Not at all Stratos. But by and large people can't keep it for a long time.That's my experience. If 4chakka can manage it..great.

Black looks damn good on an Optra, provided u can maintain it. Silver looks ok.

Rudra, Shravan, others, what would need to be done to maintain the black paint?
I have not taken much pains on my present car (blue zen) and am generally ignorant on this count.

Every car looks good in Black... (except, maybe small cars like the M800 or Matiz, which look good in lighter colours)

hey green hex, there was a limited perios where maruti made black 800s(abt 8 months back)

trust me with the body coloured bumpers and alloys it was looking stunning!!!


black would be my first pref in an optra, if not these three colours look reaaly good are maroon, silver and white(really stunning in the 1.8 version, our comapny secetary has it)

I am sure black look awesome but too bad my mom is so supersticious that we can not anymore own dark color cars we bought the optra in the blue-ish mettalic color that they have..does anyone have pictures or atleast have any opinions about that...i still have to wait till i get home..
