Expected to launch in India in early 2025, with an expected price of Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom).

Skoda heard my thoughts :Cheering:!

I always found the kodiaq's rear ugly (no offense meant to owners), but this one seems far better. In terms of frontal looks, both look cool in their own way.

Not sure if the interior pictures are real or not, but if they are, they look awesome!

Hope Skoda gets the pricing correct, unlike the Superb :).

In this particular shade and with the rounded, bulging grill, it did remined me of the old Sonata. I like the current design better.

What to expect from the Skoda Kodiaq Sportsline:

Sportline is one of Škoda’s traditional designations for cars with a sporty character. The history of this trim level stretches back to the Favorit in the 1990s. The latest additions to the Sportline family are the second-generation Kodiaq and now the fourth-generation Superb.

Are these pictures really taken in India? Bit unusual to have a totally exposed new model being tested, unless this is from a restricted Skoda India test track.

Looks like it is spied abroad as first sped pics of the RS model are just reported.

The sportiest version of this new generation of the large Czech SUV has posed in spy photos preparing to hit the market in 2025, which will not be a plug-in hybrid.

First morning of testing at the Nürburgring this autumn season, and the new Skoda Kodiaq RS has already been caught in its first tests.

wonder if the vRS will find its way to our shores? Skoda should evaluate and do bring this optional offering here.

Any chances there will be a 5-seater version of the Kodiaq?
There needs to be a 5-seater SUV from Skoda above the Karoq which really sits below the Creta and Seltos.
A 5-seater option like the XUV 500 will be nice, there are many like myself who are looking for a premium 5-seater SUV in the 30-40L range.

In one of the videos I recall the voice over saying Kodiaq comes in 5 seat configuration, but I don't know if that means it's a SWB or just standard Kodiaq but with 2 fewer seats in the back.

I personally would love to see a shorter 5 seater Kodiaq at a lower price point.

I am in the same boat as well...
For some reason, I am not able to like the XUV 700, though it has powerful engines and good features.

Tiguan is another option, but again don't like the design language and several missing features.

Tucson is good overall, but missing a powerful petrol.

Don't want to stretch for the Q3 or GLC etc. just for the badge value.

Kodiaq 5-seater is ideal for me, ideally with a hybrid engine.

It's the standard Kodiaq with 2 fewer seats and huge boot. SWB Kodiaq is the Karoq ;)

I'm fairly certain Karoq is a much much 'smaller' vehicle. It's not just a shorter length.
Atleast that was my experience having sat inside both.

Agree with Maky. The Karoq is in the same league as Creata ( very slightly longer ). The Kodiaq is a full size bigger and luxurious in all aspects.
