I think the Design Edition looks dumb and boring compared with the smarter, "normal" Optra... What do you people think?

Design Edition

Standard Optra

liked the optra, the design edition looks too toyish, only exclusion would be the rims and the idea of a dvd player,

but honestly would put rs 300 extra and going in for the a/t optra rather than the design edtion

the design editionlooks a bit gay...
not to my liking...
with the extra cash i eould get beter and fatter alloys and tyres and a system that is as good as a home theatre...
i dnt think the auto is worth it .....
too slow and gulps alot of fuel

Black Optra for me too. Saw some really good ones on seaface last night, there was this one black in colour with smoked black alloys, and white headlights with a bluish tinge. Almost mistook it for something a little more exotic.

I prefer the so called design edition. That single piece grill gives the car a proper "Chevy" family presence. The earlier 3 piece grill was too Korean for my liking.

Anyways, I'm sure this single piece grill will become standard soon.

Actually, I hated the original grill too initially just because it was "Korean" (that's what prejudice can do) but after seeing the Chevy grill I started liking the Korean one better... also come to the realisation that there is nothing really wrong with something being Korean.

One must not overlook the fact that the Optra styling is actually Italian.

If there is something called character, old grill has it. New one according to me is run of the mill.

the old grill was designed to suit the cars looks and the daewoo family grill but the new one just looks out of place in the optra design edition .....
the bulbs with the bluish tinge on the black optra are the piaa ones imported from singapore or fake HID bulbs available here for 350-1000 bucks....
im gettin the fake ones for my nexia..
i had origional but got a warning from the cops for blinding him - they are 140 watts u noe .....

Personally, I dont care for the Optra's front-end looks. With the new edition, it just got crappier. IMO the rear three-quarter view is really good. And make mine black or silver with 16" OZ rims
