You nailed it. So true. Although I have mentioned so many of my requirements in an earlier post in this thread, I was so sold on the new Endeavour that I would have still bought it even if it didn't tick many of those requirements, but thankfully it did.

Call it the ageing effect or whatever you want, but ride quality is now important to me. I don't think I'd ever buy a car with a bumpy ride (unless its a sports car). I think the market has also moved in this direction. Every car - right from the Swift to the Innova and the Verna to the Endeavour - now rides better than its predecessor from a decade ago.

Other decision factors remain the same .

Re: How do you decide to buy a car for YOU?

The criterion for me is quite straightforward.

It should tug at my heart-strings!

Usually, cars that are well put-together (solid construction) and are engaging to drive, are right at the top of my list. Space, practicality and outright reliability / cost-effective service, are not priorities for me, which is the reason I bought a Polo GT TSI.

Had I waited a little longer to make the purchase, I would have strongly considered a black Punto Abarth too.

I love the old-gen Figo and the new Figo isn't half as bad either.
