any updates on the sonalika SUV guys ? surprising none of us here at team-bhp have any more information.

Well the project was allegedly in collaboration with MG-Rover. Since that entity has folded up and we havent heard any pre-launch noises from Sonalika, things dont look too good.

you mean MG-Rover has folded or the collaboration ? but wasn't the Sonalika SUV article quite recent in the papers ?

I think I just saw it in heavy rain in Koramangala. It looked like a Qualis but I found the rear lights looked blotchy. Badges similar to Mazda. Looks like Qualis meets Tavera - nothing much

The Rhino is not a SUV. Its just a Qualis with poor quality

hey busa lets see how the vehicle will do . we just cant tell thats its of poor quality(too early) .and y not let us entertain an indian company to upcome,(atleast till the car comes into the market) i am not pointing it wrong ,buts lets wait

The Rhino will be sporting a Isuzu engine for now.....most probably the amby 1800Z engine.....It will start sharing with rover engine n components from the end of this year....

Some pictures of the Rhino are located in the Official Auto Expo thread on page 6 and page 8.
The press release says that the Rhino will use a 2 litre engine sourced from HM. In all probability, it's the 1995cc Isuzu diesel.
Engine parts from Rover? Hmmmm... CityRover?
