I was also initially wondering whether my choice is right, but after reading the posts on thsis ite, feel much better :))

yeah bro go for it !!
I like the mid night silver (darkish grey) ..optra looks the best in black ,less darker colours follow ...

cheers

Go for the base Optra in any color u like.
But do get the following done( at least) from the dealer (maybe free of cost)
1. Body colored door handles
2. Body colored door mirrors
3. Body colored side strip
4. Fog lamps
5. Silver finished center console ( similar to Optra LT)

The base Optra with those standard black handles, moirrors, etc looks a bit plain and removes the luxurious feel from it.

The Newer versions have Wooden and not silver just like the design edition..

Not really a steal at 9.xx lac rupees. And it gives 9.xx in the city according to the most recent roadtest.

GTO

its strange u ask for suggestion regarding colour rather than a car, see once u have decided on a car, colour is purely ur choice, the taste u feel from within and not someones else choice and mind u theres diff in any colour as long as u have good car and u drive safe, so therefore take the colour of ur choice

see y are u all bothered from which car optra is copied from as long as u have a good car suited for indian roads, take it
