i voted for the santro. i was the owner of a santtro dx for 3 years and never ever had a problem with the car. the service from hyundai was 1st rate and the spares were cheap.

the car was a dream to get in and out and driving in the city was a pleasure.

cheers

Of the three, the Santro rules. Its pretty much an all rounder in its segment. Something like the NHC is in the C segment.

The Santro today is also much much improved over what was initially launched with a bigger engine, more refinement and improved looks.

My Vote is.. Obviously for the... WagonR.

It knocks.... *Thats it. Thats my only problem.

the 999cc Santro was never a match... nothing...

1086cc.. sounds better than it actually is.... but still better than the old one.

Rest... maybe I can agree with GTO.. NHC for the C and Santro for B.
but sorry NHC... I won't buy it even if you give it to me for 4.5L.... *leave alone 6.5.

So comes down.. to everyone's biased opinions.

PS: Sales doesn't mean... car is good. B'coz only 500 something... people in India are a member of Team-Bhp.

Well......
I`ve voted for a Wagon R mainly for its Maruti service backup.
Santro comes a close second.
Indica, well aint it all about space and no performance?

P.s : Once while driving a friends Santro,i took a right turn and felt like im falling off the car.Man!!!!Never drove a santro after that.

yes bhp i also think that wagonR is the clear winner as far as these three cars are concerned..(though i think Palio is the clear choice in this whole segment)..
The reasons WagonR gets my choice:
1. Its a Maruti.. so afs and spare parts not any problem
2. Long Engine life..
3. 80kmph-150kmph of WagonR smoother and safer compared to Santro(not to forget AutoCar figure of 14.8 seconds for 0-100kmph)
4. Slightly better fuel economy than santro...
5. Very flexible front seats....
6. Amazingly smooth power steering... (Santro does not come even close to that)

And by the way.. whats Indica doing in that list...:O .. it would be unfair to compare this car right now to Suzukis and Hyundais... maybe 10 yrs down the line.. this car may catch up...
till then.. its WagonR for me....

Ok, here goes.

The Indica is out of consideration even.

The Wagon R is too boxy for my tastes, and boy, are the seats really bad. After the Esteem, which IMO has one of the best seats and driving positions still around, the Wagon R really scares me. The totally unsupportive seats just dont make it, and feels like a moving stool. The engine's a gem though. And of course, Maruti's service.

Overall, I've to give it to the Santro. Comparitively better looks and more comfortable. The new-look Santro looks much better than the one it replaces. Even Hyundai's got excellent customer service. Guess I'd pick it anydays over the other two.

If Palio is included in this pole, it would get my vote.

For now, Wagon R and Santro both share my vote equally.
