Mahindra did talk about introducing more variants on the Logan platform. Let's hope this one is next!

It looks superb. I only hope it comes here with proper conversion to RH drive. If priced right it would give healthy competition to the market.

i am not sure if this is logan hatchback, Renault has other products also.
That is Clio for sure. Probably the brazilian version.

The Mirrors are from Logan. The bumper looks like it is from the Grand Vitara
Looks like a Dacia after extensive Renault surgery. It is sold in Brazil, so I dare say its not far away.
It defintiely looks more aesthetic than the sedan. Except that ugly front grille.
Im finding it a bit ugly compared to other hatches in the market. (Just my opinion)
If mahindra launches it in India and with sensible pricing. Surely it will give other hatches a run for their money.
the car in the picture looks good...only point is "will it be launched in india" because i dont think this is logan hatchback....
its NOT a logan hatchback. Logan looks much different....
Doesnt look like the Logan. This one has more curvy edges compared to the boxy saloon we have here. The interiors look similar though. Not a bad car if launched in the 5 lakh bracket with a diesel engine.
If we believe the South African media, then the Logan Sandero is indeed coming to India. The article also talks about a sedan based on the Sandero in the future (that means the new look/next gen Logan sedan for us, but that is far far away).
South Africa is getting the Sandero in late 2008/early 2009. My prediction, we should get it by 2010 (or maybe earlier, the sooner it comes, the better for us and Mahindra).

Isn't 2010 a bit too late?:Frustrati I wish this car comes to india in mid 2008 and Mahindra "might" have another winner in their hands.
