Looks very cool.

Especially for Safari, the play of lines along with the play of matte and glossy blacks make it look very Batmobile-ish

Incidentally, it was also showcased during the 2025 Expo, and there were speculations that it would be first launched with the EV versions of Harrier and Safari.

Nevertheless, lots of lovely details pointed out in the video for the Stealth edition.

Re: Tata Harrier/Safari Stealth edition launched

Looks great. I would have gone for the stealth edition if it was introduced during the launch of the facelift instead of the dark edition I bought.

Re: Tata Harrier/Safari Stealth edition launched

US will provide F35 stealth to India in near future and we have this stealth

Aren't they doing too much to Safari/Harrier ? When is a re-design scheduled for this SUV ? Also, they should stop adding features after. People wont notice. Mahindra does everything right. Put everything from the start and see how momentum builds and stays.

Tata launches Stealth Edition to mark 27th anniversary of Safari

Tata Motors is celebrating 27th anniversary of the Tata Safari with the launch of the limited Stealth Edition. It is available in both the Harrier and Safari but production will be limited to just 2,700 units.

The Harrier and Safari Stealth Edition are finished in a new Stealth Matte Black exterior colour. The SUVs get all-black grilles, window lines, roof rails and ORVMs. The alloy wheels are painted black.

Inside, both SUVs get full black leatherette upholstery and come equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system, 2-zone automatic climate control, powered front seats with ventilation, powered tailgate and level 2 ADAS.

The Stealth Editions are mechanically identical to the standard versions. Both the Harrier and Safari are powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 168 BHP and 350 Nm. The engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The Tata Harrier and Safari Stealth Editions are priced at Rs 25.09 lakh and Rs 25.74 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively.

Leadership at TAMO deserves public castigation (I don't think I can say what I am thinking on this forum safely - but let your imagination free) for keeping on charging premium for just different paint shades on cars since 5 years now.

All that they are achieving by this is beating VW in "editions" of Polo/Vento. And nobody is watching it.

#Dark was not enough and now we have #Stealth. There are not many takers for matte shade. When you want to buy car in matte shade the first recommendation is to put PPF costing ₹1lakh on it to maintain matte finish.
Why should anyone buy Stealth and put PPF on it and not buy #Dark and put matte PPF on it?

I feel Harrier and Safari normal variants need more color options for people to choose from.
- Both cars do not have Silver shade.
- Safari does not have Red and Seaweed green color.
- Harrier does not have Blue color.

If Harrier was available in Blue or Safari in Red, then I would have definitely opted for one of these.

OT: terrible slogan, isn't the point of a "stealth" edition not to feel the presence?

Re: Tata Harrier/Safari Stealth edition launched

Looks amazing but matte black heats up really fast in the sun, and retains it. Maintaining matte in India is a pain, as I have experience on a matte black bike. Inadvertently, during service, they apply wax. Paint 'Touch up' is also tough.

Tata Harrier Stealth Edition – A Quick First Look
Hello fellow Team-BHPians,
This is my first post on the forum. Since I am a newly joined member, I am unable to start a new thread, so I am sharing my first look impressions of the Tata Harrier Stealth Edition as a reply here.
First Impressions
At first glance, from a distance, the car appears to have a greyish hue under broad daylight. However, upon closer inspection, its unique paint finish becomes more noticeable.
I currently own a Tata Harrier Fearless+ Dark Edition facelift, so I am quite familiar with the car, though I haven't written a review of my ownership experience yet. I plan to do so in the coming days.
Interestingly, the Stealth Edition appears slightly smaller than the regular Harrier or the Dark Edition. While this might just be an illusion, the car retains the same dimensions as the standard Harrier, with primarily cosmetic updates.
The matte black finish gives it a distinct appearance. In fact, if you were to apply a matte PPF to the existing Harrier Dark Edition, you'd achieve a very similar look.

Key Differences from the Dark Edition
Here are the notable changes in the Stealth Edition:
1. Matte Black Paint – The most prominent visual change.
2. Blacked-Out Badging – The rear “Harrier” badging is now fully black instead of chrome.
Tata Harrier/Safari Stealth edition launched-img_6100.jpg
3. New Alloy Wheels – The wheels are borrowed from the current Safari's 19-inch alloys but are now fully black (instead of having chrome accents).
Tata Harrier/Safari Stealth edition launched-img_6102.jpg
4. Adjustable Armrest – Unlike the fixed armrest in the Dark Edition, this one can slide forward and backward, adding a slight improvement in comfort.
5. Infotainment Updates – The 10.25-inch touchscreen from the top-end Fearless+ trim is carried over, but with a redesigned UI that supports app downloads, including YouTube, Netflix, and Prime Video. Unfortunately, I couldn't test this feature since the showroom car’s battery was disconnected. This feature isn't available in previous editions, but it’s likely Tata Motors could introduce it via a software update.
Tata Harrier/Safari Stealth edition launched-img_6098.jpg
Final Thoughts
After a quick 10-minute inspection, I feel the Stealth Edition is another mild refresh rather than a groundbreaking update. Tata frequently introduces special editions, and while this one offers a fresh look, it doesn’t bring any major functional upgrades apart from the adjustable armrest and updated infotainment system.
Additionally, Tata has limited the production of the Harrier and Safari Stealth Editions to 2,700 units combined, making it a somewhat exclusive offering.
For those already considering the Harrier Fearless+ Dark Edition, this might be worth looking at, given it’s available only in the top-end trim. However, for existing owners, the changes aren’t significant enough to justify an upgrade.
Would like to hear what others think about this edition!
